Regarding upcoming iOS app fee

Hi, everyone:

In November 2024, Apple is requiring Patreon to include an "in-app fee" (30% fee) for subscriptions made through the Apple iOS Patreon app. Fortunately, this fee is ✨avoidable!✨ Here's how!:

• Do not subscribe through the iOS Apple App store! Instead, use a ✨web browser✨ to subscribe to creators to avoid this fee!

What else to know:

• This fee will be added on top of regular membership prices when subscribing through the Patreon iOS app.

• This fee does not affect current Patrons. It is only applied to new Patrons who join using the iOS app after the fee is implemented in November 2024.

• BUT if you are a current Patron and you were to unsubscribe and re-subscribe after this fee is implemented in November 2024, you will be charged this additional fee if you do so through the iOS app.

• We're pretty sure you can still use the iOS Patreon app to browse your feed as normal once you've already subscribed, just don't use it for anything involving a payment process if you want to avoid the Apple App Store fees.
