Better Exceptions v1.07 - Timeline Package Tracker and More

Multiple quality of life and package tracker improvements:
Improved Blank LE Correction - BE should now have a higher success rate at reporting would-be blank LastExceptions
Offline Mode Notice - If for some reason, BE is unable to connect to it's server for updates and Database records, you'll receive a one-time Offline Mode notice. This notice will only re-appear once you've had a successful connection or installed a new version. BE will still function fine in Offline Mode.
Corrupted Zip Detection - Previously an invalid or corrupt .zip/ts4script would cause BE to fail. Now BE will still be able to finish reporting and will also tell you which file is corrupted.
Support for Users without "Share Usage Data" on - In 1.06, having your share usage data off would cause BE to report old exceptions, causing confusion by reporting an exception you already fixed until you manually deleted your LastException.txt. I'm happy to report that this is no longer an issue.
Timeline Package Tracking - Timeline exceptions can occur due to a multitude of issues, but a few of those have been added to the Package Tracker for BE. When those occur, BE will be able to tell you exactly which mod package caused it. This will be expanded with time.
Improved Injector Whitelisting - BE's Possible Cause had a high chance of detecting injector scripts as a false positive. I've improved the whitelist to be less likely to include those.
Confidence Level - I've added a confidence level to the Possible Cause column, to better represent how reliable the possible cause field is. If package tracking was successful, this will be 100%. For less definitive forms of detection, you'll see values ranging from 10% to 90%.
LE Spam Blocker - I'm sure most players have encountered an LE that happens to leave you on a loading screen forever, forever dumping the same exception to file. This new feature detects when an LE has been repeated more than 3 times, and skips any future duplicates. Skipping this logging makes it more likely that loading will finish and you'll be able to retrieve your BE report.

If you have BE already, you should be prompted in game to automatically update shortly after this post goes live. If your network or firewall is blocking it, you may need to install it manually.
Download the .ts4script directly to your mods folder. It can not be more than 2 folders deep.

thank you for the reply and your mods, I've never had that mod be so active lol freaked me out. I use this mod and a few of your others constantly in my games, I'd definitely miss them if they were gone
This mod caused me some problems after the last update so I had to remove it, will there be an update on it?
BE is fine. If you mean it was popping up repeatedly it means another mod is causing issues and BE is trying to tell you THAT needs fixed
I saw the other day— so glad your pups are ok! We had a scare with our dachshund, Melvin, earlier this month and it was terrifying, so I completely understand! I was dealing with some life issues, more on that in my previous posts. BE will be ready as soon as I reasonably can.
I am getting an Error Code 140:95e2d14f:30cc6644. I checked the EA Answers for a solution and it says it is the BE mod. Is there an update or other related issue to this???
BE is next on my to-do list, right after the public release of Better BuildBuy (which is still on track to be released tonight) For now, BE should be removed.
I just posted a review on Discord, it is partly broken, if you have a funny scouring LE it could be from him. Don't forget to check all your mods by integrating them little by little to find the intruder if you have a problem. Thank you;)

The folder only contains PYC files, and therefore won't work in my game. What can I do?

For some reason my computer won't download this mod, and many others. It says "This File does not have an app associated with it" Not sure what this means but it's disappointing I can't get it, if you have any suggestions please let me know.

so when I download the files show as "PYC" not package files, is that normal? I extracted them straight into my mods folder no sub folder but its not popping up in game or anything and I know I have exceptions as the orange last exception box from MCCC still pops up and that's why I downloaded this because I cant figure out which mod/mods that are causing it :(
im having similar problems im new to all this and im trying to figure out what it is in my game that's making these come up, one thing said it was the tuning in wicked it whims but its in the right place how do I send my report?

Hey so I downloaded your mod and it showed me where a broken personality trait I had downloaded was, which was perfect! But I have multiple broken shirts and some hair CC that I can't find the file name for and it isn't detecting it. Am I supposed to run a specific command that will detect broken clothing, or does your mod not cover broken clothing CC?
Unfortunately BE doesn't have package tracking for cas cc yet. I depend heavily on players to provide their mods to me if they find some causing an issue that BE can't track yet. Hi TMex! I have a LE I need looked at, but only have it in the .txt format. My game won't load and no BE report is being generated. Is it ok to put that on discord for help?

i keep getting an error when i try to download, it says file does not have app associated with it. how can i fix this

Since the errors are always linked to animations and missing bone rigs, I do believe it has to be the WW mod. When I go to the Last exception help, it always says to ignore the problem, the problem being that if I ignore it, I am not able to play in that lot. Lately, I deconstruct the room, whenever I get this issue and one by one start saving and exiting the game until I get the last exception again.
If you stop by my discord or MCCC's we'll take a look at the report for you.
I get a last exception, but no window pops up, so I pretty print the XML and try to hunt down the culprit. It is always the same rig missing and it happens with night stands depending on what I place on them.

After adding this mod I get very long loading screens. Is this just because it's the first time loading the game after installing?
No, maybe you have been getting a LastException.txt and didn't know it? If so, BE might be generating a report which can sometimes take a few minutes if you have lots of mods. The LE will be in your The Sims 4 folder (one above Mods) if you want to check.

Is this Compatible with the legacy edition?
I'm not maintaining compatibility for legacy edition, but as far as I'm aware I didn't "plug-in" to anything that didn't already exist in the game code so it should theoretically be compatible.
Thanks a lot! If it helps, I've seen Nisa's Whicked Perversions throw LE errors even though they don't affect gameplay by any mean. I think you could add it to the timeline tracker error.
There's so many variables I have little luck replicating issues based on mod name alone. Would have to know and have a download for the specific version that threw it and/or how to trigger it. It's strange struggling to intentionally break my game when players seem to do it accidentally with such ease lol

Thanks so much, man. This mod saves my ass so often. I run with a TON of CC and mods and it used to be WAY harder to figure out what was breaking my game. This saves me so much time.
