SecretLab BuildBuy Mode Public Release
This mod enables you to live and build on the crater lot, turning it into a residential zone.
NOTE: The mod only converts the lot for saves that haven't loaded/visited the Lab prior. If you've already loaded the lot, you'll need to start a new game for the mod to take effect. The story may not be completely playable on saves with this mod.
To install:
Save the file directly to your Mods folder.
Make sure Mods are enabled in Gameplay Options -> "Other" tab.

When I'm done with the build and haven't changed anything story related, is there any way I can change it back to a lab lot, to start the story???
No, its locked to whatever type it was when you first started the save
Hello, I cannot remove the green fence (the smallest in the center, which crosses the ground) With the "Tmex-AlwaysFreeBuild" mods I can select it but I cannot delete it or put it in the family inventory (unavailable with the free mode) without the "Tmex-AlwaysFreeBuild" mods I cannot select it at all. She cuts my buildings in two, it's annoying Do you have a solution ? Thanks :)

To my knowledge, it doesn't require an update.
Hi ! Can we use this mod just to rebuild the Secret Lab with cc ? And then remove it to still play "normally" on the lot ?
It turned it into a Residential lot. But some items cannot be deleted, edited or moved and my household funds are not available in build mode. Brand new save. Haven't played yet (just editing the world). Am I doing something wrong?
I know its been a while, but does this still work? It successfully converts the lab into a residential lot, but I'm unable to select anything in BB mode and attempting to place items results in the message: "Cannot make changes outside of owned area." Also, I am unable to enter the lab.

A suggestion: You could make it so sims of all ages can be contained in the S1M5-4 Test Tube Pedestal and Plant Containment Cell

Is there a way to allow us to change the lot type of the Secret Lab? I'd love to turn it into the Science Lab for the GTW Science career. :)
You can register the secret laboratory, try to put it on a piece of another world and test it as a scientific lab, it can work I think since the phenomena only work in Strangerville;

Sure is. The explorable behavior isn't really there but all the objects are.
