Swatch Tray: A New Feature for CAW and Better BuildBuy
Create-A-World ALPHA now includes the Swatch Tray feature, a slide-out tray that sits on the left side of your screen. When you select an object that has swatches to pick from, this tray will appear and display the full thumbnail of every swatch for that object. You can select the swatch you'd like from this tray and place it.
This option is on by default but can be disabled in the Construction Center or by clicking the settings gear icon at the top right of the tray.
The tray settings also offers two additional options.
Keep Open on Placement - Off by default. This will keep your last set of swatches visible even after you finish placing the object. Useful if you plan to place many different variations of the same object.
Show Info - On by default. This toggles the Info Panel that pops up when you hover over an item in the swatch tray.
You can get it now by becoming a tester for the CAW alpha
Better BuildBuy will get the feature later this month.

Oh this was you! I thought it randomly came with an update. lol This has been so helpful for me. Thank you! The Maxis UI makes swatches a pain in the ass sometimes. When will CAW be out of testing, do you think? <3
I paid for global tester tier and never got access. Please check your messages or contact Patreon support. They said I have to contact you.
I've refunded you, however I don't have any information on why patreon didn't give you access, it showed paid in my manager but also said you were a free tier account. You can try again if you'd like, there may have just been an issue with patreon when you tried. There is an option to pay without receiving a tier, make sure you don't choose that option and actually sign up for the global tester tier.

CAW will be free when finished but it's a long process. This feature is coming to BBB later this month and will be in early access for a few weeks before officially releasing officially for free.

Wait a sec, is this gonna be like a Sims 3-style pattern maker? Cause that's pretty much the only thing I still miss from Sims 3 that isn't yet officially in Sims 4... Oh my Cat! If you can manage to add that kind of feature back into The Sims 4, I'd definitely become a paying Patron! Wow! That'd be well worth the money! I'm already aching to get my hands on CAW, but man...! If I'm wrong and this isn't the new feature, I'm sorry for misunderstanding - I'm recovering from a minor bout of illness at the moment, and I'm not as mentally sharp as I normally am. But I hope it is! 💜
