Updated for Adventure Awaits Patch
Fixed inventory list so that it accurately reflects items added or removed from inventory during a search.
The latest in the Search Collection, this mod adds a search to the sims inventory panel!
I also have some more ideas for this one in the future, hence the "Better" moniker.
Usage:
Use the panel normally, and you'll find the search bar in the top left of the panel, under the Filter button. The search works in conjunction with the usual filters.
Install Instructions:
1. Open the zip file below and drag the Tmex-BetterInventory.package to your Mods folder.

i just received a broken ui report saying this is broken
Hello, i love this mod and im really glad you made it! I just wanted to let you know that the searchbar covers the top of any stacked item entries at the top left corner of the inventory, which makes it impossible to click on the number icon stating how many items are in the stack and select them individually. Moving the searchbar downwards slightly automatically shifting the rows of items down and out of the way would help prevent this. Thank you for making this mod 💖

Hi TM, I ran into a glitch with a toddler sim's inventory in which the content of her inventory disappeared twice in 30 real world minutes. I did a web search and it indicated save file corruption, but I couldn't find anything with much depth. So, I turned to ChatGPT and did an analysis. You might find it interesting, as the discussion touches on this mod. Here's an excerpt: --- TwistedMexi’s inventory mods: Intercept inventory UI refreshes Add background sorting and cleanup logic Perform safety pruning when objects fail validation What this means in practice: If the toddler’s inventory hits a bad state: The vanilla game might leave it half-broken TM’s mods are more likely to say “this inventory is invalid” and clean it “Clean it” = empty inventory, not partial salvage --- Anyway, I'm not reporting an issue, as I'm pretty sure chatgpt has helped me correct my issue (though I still have to do thorough testing). Yeah, I'm old. 😁 I have thought about getting into sims nodding myself, but, honestly, it seems like work, and I got very burnt out on work. GPT is virtually useless when it comes to mods and mod troubleshooting. It doesn't have the actual info of my mods so it's just hallucinating an answer unfortunately. If you can reproduce the issue, send me your save on discord and the steps to replicate, and I'll look into it.

Hey friend, i hope you're doing well bc I know you have your hands full with all of these mods and a million questions from everyone. Which of your mods are NOT compatible with 1.110.311 bc Scarlet has better inventory compatible with L&D but comments under it say its not good, I miss having better exceptions, searchable pose player, modguard, coastal basements & pools (and a few others). this comment is NOT meant to push a fix nor rush one at all, if they are already compatible then I will head over and download but if not I will wait as long as you require bc your work is worth it! Thank you for all you do for us ;-)
All mods including those were tested and work fine. If anyone else is having an issue and they got the mods from twistedmexi.com then it's an install issue or conflict
