Have you considered using Monaco 2019 CHQ track mod? Much smoother surface. Seems a lot closer to real life
It's not planned at the moment. Monaco 2019 CHQ is still an old unfinished mod and the surface seems too smooth for Monaco (one of the less smooth of the season) I will ask ChiQuiFreaky what are his plans for this track
Just a dumb question , there is a more advanced surface modell of tracks , for example with Monaco i find weird bumbs where onboard RL has no any or in another place . I just examined and on monaco after the third bigger turns (Right turn) right after the turn is a huge bump where almost have to takoff from throttle , and probably is in wrong place as in RL they make an avoidance maneuver later after turn 3 like in the middle of the straight to turn 4. Nobody experienced this , and probably has other misplaced or wrong interpreted surface mesh. I dont think is Laser Scanned
Kerb at Piscene makes it tough to drive since the car gets catapulted across for me
Wonderful mod, though I still struggle with the bump at turn 15. When looking at real life laps, this turn is completely flat but in this mod the car is completely unsettled. That makes you loose 2-3 tenths in a formula alpha 2024.
Thank you Pyyer. My latest AI experience works very good. STEP 1) On CM / New AI Behavior / AI Tweaks / you have to disable "Act impatient if blocked" and "Use simpler AI spline for low-level AIs" - STEP 2) Download AI by mk-sg https://www.overtake.gg/downloads/monaco-2020-and-pyyer-2022-2024-ai-sidelines-ai-hints.69332/ and use "AI LINE OPTION 2 - Fasterer Hairpin" - STEP 3) Use 0% aggressive for race. Tested with VRC Formula Alpha 2024 with 20 drivers at 100% strenght. Now is very playable, specially at first lap when confusion is bigger. Feel free to try other aggressive settings.
Hi JV82, im using the same setting youre using, minus "AI LINE OPTION2". Im using ""OPTION1 - Fasterer Hairspin". Can you say why youre using option 2 instead? Thanks!!
Some comments regarding physics and kerbs: monaco_2020 is an old mod obviously and unfortunately kerbs are integrated directly into the main track file so right now with latest CSP versions it's impossible to remove physics elements with an extension (ie: without changing the whole track file)
Where can we find a good explanation/tutorial to setup the ai, for a race offline. bc many times on whichever track (especially Miami) I’m constantly having ai crashing into walls or each other and ruining the race. Can some one please help with this, it’s very frustrating.
One thing that can always help with AI is to disable this setting (enabled by default in CM): Custom Shaders Patch / New AI Behavior / AI Tweaks / Use simpler AI spline for low level AIs
Anybody able to rece against a full aicar grid?
I have managed a full race with VRC but maybe it was a fluke. One thing that can always help with AI is to disable this setting (enabled by default in CM): Custom Shaders Patch / New AI Behavior / AI Tweaks / Use simpler AI spline for low level AIs
will you update the new kerbs?
Thank You! I hope for the future for a Monaco Historique extension...
great mod but the track mod is super outdated and undriveable because of the bumps, some kerbs in real life were removed more than 10 years ago but theyre still there on the track mod
beautiful as always... however I am getting a white out on certain corners. Only on this skin not any others.
