Steam – rejected again, but this time there’s hope
I hope everyone is having a nice day. The review failed again, but this time it wasn’t due to the game itself, but something simpler. They’re asking me to add all the achievements so the game can be approved, since I only added a few as placeholders.
For those who don’t know: after the Visa controversy with adult gaming during 2025 due to that “banned” game, Steam removed the possibility of Early Access for adult games. Now, your game needs to meet a lot of requirements and standards. Because of that, they test the game deeply before it can be approved—something that didn’t happen before. Developers used to be able to get approved without this much testing.
Adding to that, it takes a very long time to get any response, even to messages.
All of this has been very difficult. At the moment, Steam is the only way we would be able to afford working full-time on this project. Because of this, it’s also been very hard to set an accurate release date on Steam, since I don’t know when the game will get approved, and each response can take up to 20 days.
I really want to thank all the people who have been supporting and following this project during all this time. You’ve been making this much easier and motivating me to continue this journey. Thanks so much for being here, and I wish you all an amazing day!
