Gift of Hedone: Potions Capacity and Sizes

Hello you Delicious Deviants,

I wanted to discuss Potions sizes and capacity.

As the protagonist is a Blacksmith by trade, you are not versed in alchemy or potion making. So you will be relying on the help on the local alchemists to get potions.

I also want to add capacity limits on how many potions you can carry. This will be something you can increase though throughout the game, but I wanted to get your thoughts on how it would work.

The Idea:
Instead of having dedicated Small, Medium or Large potion vials - you would have a capacity total. And each Potion would have a capacity or size value. So a small 10% health potion may have a 1 size capacity, but a 50% health potion may have a 3 size capacity value.

So if you had a potion capacity of 9, in that example you could have 9 x small health potions, or 3 x large health potions.

I think this just keeps it simple, but gives you as the player freedom to craft the potions you see more fitting to your play style.

What are you thoughts, do you like this, or would you prefer set small, medium and large potion slots?

I was thinking that is a nice idea but would be better to be rapresented in weight or something like that, but than warden made me think that it would be cool to have a system like dradge where you have a squared inventory and have to manage it like tetris, you could have differt shaped bottle and try to fit them in the inventory, maybe the alchemist can swap bottles and potions. Still the good idea for the system
