my reshade is broken??
is anyone else having issues with reshade/gshade showing up in your game today?? my reshade was working perfectly fine last night & i went into my game today for it to just disappear completely. i have tried everything i can think of to fix it, such as, updating reshade, uninstalling, & reinstalling it & nothing has worked. i can't finish taking screenshots for my fairy sims dump without my shaders... please help :'(

I had the same problem, and for me it was the EA app. I had to uninstall and reinstall it, and then it worked again.
i despise myself for spending all yesterday trying to uninstall & reinstall reshade, when the issue was the EA app all along lol :'(

Yes, I heard from another sim content creator that you just need to make sure your EA app is updated to the most recent version (the number will end in 6009) and then it should work :)
I just did that & reshade FINALLY shows up in my game now!! that's crazy that the ea app was the issue though, i would have never thought that haha.
i kinda had a similar issue but it was actually that it just completely crashed my game, so I tried to download an older version and ir worked just perfectly!! i instale for both of my launchers just in case and now it never crashes or dissape for me :)) and don't need to update too \( > 0 <)/
where did you find an older version to download? all i see on their website is the 6.5.1 version. also thank you for commenting & trying to help me out :)
Someone suggested reinstalling Ea :3 I think that would help?
And no need to be worried abt ur game files, only the Ea app
