The beep beep could be like a cellphone ringtone. Someone trying to reach her and tell her it's a trap, or something bad is happening but it's already too late. The guy there would pull it out and be like, oh you thought maybe you could keep this so they can find you with the GPS inside it? And then he cracks it apart with his hands and destroys the chip in it so nobody can find her
