Happy Birthday, John! I'm not sure if you want us to share ahead of time, but I guess I'll give it a go... #1) This would be discovering the beauty of what I like to call the "self-date". I now love going to a movie by myself! It started after a horrible day at the office. It hit ~2pm and I knew I needed a mental break. So skipped out early, went the small local theater with recliner chairs, got snacks and relaxed. It was a perfect recharge to just enjoy a story for a bit before facing unnecessary real-life drama. #2) My dad and I were really pumped for the Bohemian Rhapsody movie. It was so great to go with him opening day. I grew up jamming to Queen in his truck. But the BEST part happened just after we took our seats. He leaned over and said, "I put new batteries in my hearing aids." HA! Good call, dad. Good call.
