VOTE For The Next Anime Greg & John Watch Together!
Thank you to everyone for submitting your recommendations!
Please take the time to read this so you understand how we readjusted for what to submit for voting...
We put out a post to submit recommendations on Patreon, we also put one out on our Youtube Community Page. We took the shows that had multiple votes on the patreon post and then did that whole (CTRL + F) to see how many people voted on our community page - then COMBINED!
The OBVIOUS WINNERS were DEATH NOTE (which John will be covering in place of FMAB Brotherhood / and I am already watching the series on my own time as of a couple months ago lol)
The other clear winner was CODE GEASS - the show I will be watching in place of Attack On Titan
And a reminder, John is going to start covering AGENTS OF SHIELD in place of Cobra Kai.
The reason we don't do every show together is simply because we are a two man crew and if you pay attention to the stream alongs, you'll often see one of us editing in the background while the other one is covering a show lol.
NOW WE NEED YOUR HELP so we can decide which Anime John & I watch together in place of My Hero Academia!
The 3 Shows below are tied for amount of votes...post will be up for 24 hours before announcing the winner!

i would recommend watching Dragon ball >> Dragon ball kai >> Dragon ball kai 2014 >> Dragon ball super....but right now i want you guys to watch HxH 馃榿馃榿
I have never watched hunterxhunter but absolutely despise the other 2 so that's got my vote
I vote for HxH but only if it's the sub, the dub is bad.
I agree the dub is not as good but it's serviceable. However, I do also prefer the subs if only for Hisoka's VA alone.
Love all 3 shows but concerned about the current format for all of them with 1 episode a week. I know you guys do a lot but with any of these I feel like it would be a better experience in pairs of episodes. HXH is 148 ep DBZ is 291 or 159 if you do Kai and one piece last episode was 893. If you watched several and just cut it to one video I think that would potentially help. Anyways just my thoughts regardless love all 3 and excited either way
HxH easy as. If you鈥檙e doing Dub it lacks feeling in my opinion but I鈥檒l be streaming along in Sub anyway so meh.
The dub also has some errors and feels much more inferior compared to FMAB, MyHero etc.
We were talking about what didn't make this list and just had a thought of you guys trying to tackle 900+ Pokemon episodes 馃槀馃槀
HunterXHunter is my favorite out of all of these, it's one of the best shonen anime out there. Then again, the same can be said for the two other shows as well.
DBZ has a lot of pacing issues, however DBZ Kai is a much more refined version of the show, they took out all the filler and re-dubbed it. So if Dragon Ball does win, I'd definitely recommend switching to Kai instead, same story, just cuts off all the fat.
I voted DBZ but now wish I voted HxH, dbz is my favorite ever but HxH storyline and power scaling is wayyyyy better
You can change your vote.
Doesn't DBZ has like 300 episodes? At least with HxH they will be done in like 3 years (if they watch one episode per week). Don't get me started on One Piece, 900 episodes and still going.
I picked hxh mainly because it's the shortest and its animated by madhouse my second choice would of been one piece but that has it's own issues with pacing and animation and their 20 years behind, with 1 episode a week their never gunna catch up.
I love one piece but you guys know that there are almost 900 episodes and it's still ongoing?
One Piece!!
I mean Dragon Ball Z is the godfather so this seems clear to me.
Also you guys are covering AoS, Code Geass, AND Death Note? Fuck man now I gotta start making time for all this new content lol. Keep on keeping on gentlemen 馃挭
Dbz
HxH has the least amount of episodes out of all of these, and it would be so amazing to see Gregs and Johns reaction and thoughts on the writing.
If HxH wins, you have to watch it in Japanese. It has one of the greatest voice acting scene ever made, and original language is always prefered.
I voted for One Piece. It鈥榮 just nearly 900+ episodes long. So your grandchildren can join your still running journey.
Come guys choose dragonball Z!!!! One piece they will never finish
