Hello, my loves! 💛

If you’ve been here a while, then you know this village has been a long time coming. I hit a snag with patch issues, out-of-date mods, and put off opening the save because I feared breaking months of work. 💀 But I promised you Riverrun, and in the spirit of this new chapter, I’m making good on that promise with my first official build release! And, as a way to say thank you for your patience, I’m releasing it today without early access—it's also publicly available for everyone!

🌾 About Riverrun

Half a day’s ride from the capital, just off the Golden Circle trade route, Riverrun is a quiet waterside village offering everything a weary traveler might need—rest, a warm meal, provisions…and company that’s friendly enough, just so long as you don’t stare too long. Humans and all manner of fae pass through Riverrun to get wherever they’re going next, so you never know who you'll run into…or what trouble they're bringing with them.

🏠 A Note About the Residences (Please Read!)

The honest truth: Sims 4 CC files are f*n enormous, and a fully-furnished version of a village this size would’ve been brutal to upload (and download). So I had to make a call: the tavern, which is the beating heart of Riverrun, comes fully furnished, but its rooms, the village residences, and remaining buildings are shells. I’ve also had to trim the lot down of any unnecessary clutter, but have done my best to keep the integrity of the lot intact so it’s near-ready to play. 💛

The photos you see here in today's post are exactly what you’re getting when you install the lot and required CC below.

⚠️ WARNING (READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING):

This lot is large, CC-heavy, and NOT recommended for old or lower-end PC's. I have gameplay-tested it and it works fine, but it's not designed for performance and is better suited for photo-taking or recording. If you're using GShade, this lot will run your GPU between 75-99% depending on your settings, so I recommend a light gameplay preset or turning of GShade completely if you're playing on the lot.

💾 How to Download & Install

The full village (1.8GB, all CC included) is attached below. 👇

1. Download and unzip the attached RAR files.

2. Drop all .package files into your Mods folder (Documents › Electronic Arts › The Sims 4 › Mods).

3. Drop all tray files into your Tray folder (Documents › Electronic Arts › The Sims 4 › Tray).

4. Enable Mods & Script Mods in your game settings.

5. To find this lot in your library, you MUST check “Include Custom Content” in the search filters or it will not show up in the listing.

6. Place the lot from your Library into Henford-on-Bagley (the 64x64 lot).

7. Heads up: the included CC has been batch-fixed for DX11 🛠️

⚠️ NOTE: The CC in the RAR is categorized based on my Mods folder structure, so I recommend going through the files and reorganizing them to fit your own to avoid duplicates.
