World Building 🛠️ Adam's Garage

Hey friends! How's your week been? Hopefully this post finds you all doing well 💛 My computer had to go into the shop for a few days, so I've been doing a lot of content planning during the unexpected downtime, mapping out ideas for what I'd like to share with you guys over the next month or two.

In my most recent post, I promised to start taking you guys behind-the-scenes as I build up my saves for the stories I want to tell. I swear, more than half of the work in writing a Sims series goes into building sets–there are so many good poses out there, but nowhere to take pics. That's the problem with using alpha-cc, you can't just grab a lot off the Gallery and dive in 😂 but I'm sure you know the struggle.

This is supposed to be a short teaser, so let me jump in before I find something else to ramble about 🤭 I'm remodeling this house–originally built by the mega-talented Helgatisha–for my character, Adam Hawke, a disgruntled cop who lives in Bridgeport (my fictional version of Atlanta, GA). The name of the lot is "Inner, Loner Detective," which could not be more fitting. 😂

This man won't tolerate a scratch on his bike or a stain on his perfectly white sneakers, but the dump he lives in? I mean...look at it 👆 Rotting away in an old, neglected neighborhood. At least it's quiet, and far away from everything and everyone–which is important for a man with as many enemies as he has. 👀
