Cinnasticks AMA - Part 4

Got some great questions for today! :)

I have not been asked to do a weight gain comic related to Obsession. I LOVE that movie! I finally just saw it a week or so ago, and it was so well made! I think it could be a really terrifyingly sexy ordeal to have a weight gain comic around that concept. I'd love to do one. If its something you want to help fund, let me know in the DMs, otherwise we can put it to a vote and see if that should be our next comic after the mayor.

Speaking of Obsession, right now probably Obsession :v. If you would have asked me 2 weeks ago, it would have been something completely different.

That said my favorite genre of horror is Cosmic/Lovecraftian horror. I love the existential dread you get when watching humans try to control something they have no business trying to control and failing. That lack of control just sends dread to the pit of your stomach and that's such a poignant feeling.

Included in there are also things like body horror and monster horror (more from the Lovecraftian style) and those are great, I don't mind them one bit, but you can have excellent cosmic horror without them too. If you want to see a great low-budget cosmic horror, check out "The Endless." It was a perfect example of that. Other notable movies in that genre that I love are, in order of how I like them: Annihilation, The Void, The Mist, Color Out of Space, and The Thing. Another one I recently saw on Shudder, if you love irreverent movies, is "Glorious." Be prepared for a raunchy cosmic horror with a unique twist at the end.

I am 100% a night owl. I don't like waking up in the mornings and I get most of my work done late at night. My wife hates it :v.

Fun Fact: Another reason why this might be the case for me, I recently learned more about a neurological disorder I have called "Visual Snow Syndrome." I've had it for as long as I can remember, but basically my brain over stimulates my visual cortex making it work in overdrive trying to translate my vision. So, I end up getting this "tv snow" effect overlayed on everything I see. This disorder also has other quirks like seeing after images, visual movement trails, spotting faces where you shouldn't be able to, sparkles in your vision, seeing floating clouds of color, and a bunch of other stuff. Another thing is light sensitivity. So, perhaps subconsciously I became a night owl because of that. My office is always dark and I work in dark mode on my PC. I just don't like the light :v

1) No not really, lol. In that AI fake trailer I put together (and got lambasted about), there is a scene in there with a vat labeled "LARD." Now I'm not saying that that's eClaire's lipo fat ready to be injected into an unwilling victim. But I'm also NOT saying that either. I'll leave that up to your imagination.

2) This is a great question, actually. My biggest fetish inspiration, not only because of their quality work but also just their massive success is Better-with-Salt. I'm just in awe about how he has grown not only a team of assistants but then been able to scale at a point where they can all make a living drawing fat fetish art. It's so inspiring, and it makes me want to try harder (and feel a little jealous :v).

There are a few others too that really just wiggle my brain, I really love Alisagramova's work, her soft characters and sequences are just to die for. Breadwithketchup is another one, I'm not a huge fan of the soft line work she's been doing recently, but otherwise the art and style is phenomenal. Spellsx also comes to mind, I LOVE the anime/manga look, and their work is top notch.

Non-fetish artists, the biggest one is Seb McKinnon. He was a Magic: The Gathering artist (Yes, I'm a nerd) and I just LOVE his style. The horror, the brushy texturing, the choice of colors and framing. His work is really unique and stands out.

^ that's my favorite of his pieces.

Oh I'm aware :v.

She just won't love you back in any meaningful way.

Another great session of questions! Feel free to send more if you have them! :)
