Project Updates - A Mid-Year Update

Hey everyone! First off, thanks for hanging in there with me, I really appreciate everyone's support!

I just wanted to let everyone know where I'm at on things.

General Health Update:
My surgery went well and I've been steadily recovering. My wrist has regained 80% of its function and I'm more readily able to use my PC for larger projects. It'll still have a little bit more of healing to go to where its closer to 100% but it's definitely getting stronger day by day.

Commissions:
Commissions have been steadily getting worked on! I have 3 more in the hopper, and have 2-3 waiting on me to send invoices. These will get sent out as time allows, and I'll be working on plowing through these as quickly as I can!

The Mayor:
I'll be starting this back up here this week, I had originally planned for one more page and a full page image left, but I'll determine that based on the tempo as I work on it. It might need an additional page so it doesn't feel rushed.

OBCD:
I'll start this one back up next week. I don't want to overwhelm myself as I take on these additional projects again. We've finally started getting into the meat of the story with the weight gain and the drama, so I'm excited to share it with you!

Stuffed Tier one offs:
Luckily this has been the thing I've been most consistent with, if you have any suggestions for content, let me know! I'll do my best at doing more polls etc. for this tier. So getting ideas etc will help me flush out those polls moving forward. Let me know!

Game development:
Okay this one is bittersweet. A long time ago I announced I started working on a game, a No Diet Universe dating sim. Unfortunately, that project was far too ambitious and I'm too poor at project management to keep it on track. I was trying to do too much and it just wasn't working.

HOWEVER! I have started a new game project. This one is FAR MORE manageable! I've greatly narrowed the scope, now focusing on two major characters (the player character + one other), and greatly narrowed the amount of locations etc, I'm tuning the art direction, started writing the script (I'm finalizing the introduction and already have one ending written), and employed a programmer to help with the ren'py programming.

So, what's the title?

Title is "Plush". I'm not going to go too deep into the story, I don't want to ruin it for anyone. But if you like horror mixed with fetish, I think there is a good chance you'll like this. I'm going for a mono-chrome 8bit style on the art direction.

And, just so there isn't any confusion. This is NOT AI, this is all done with my normal 3D process and photoshop. I'm not yet sold on character design just yet, but this was a test of what you can expect art direction-wise for the game.

Currently, I expect to release the game updates at the Well-Fed tier, so once those start rolling out, I'll be looking for feedback and bug reports. I'm still fairly far away from anything complete yet, but this is definitely a much more doable project and I'm looking forward to working on it.

Audio Drama
I've also been working with a script writer for the next audio drama. This will not be a continuation of the Ava Sinclaire saga, but will actually be a unique Warhammer 40k inspired piece. I will be employing voice actors etc for this one, as well as creating the environmental soundscapes, and either commissioning music or finding non-ai music that will work with it.

Based on the previous poll that I had done, there were people who were interested in helping fund future art projects like this. So, I'm looking at ways to partially crowd fund it. For those who end up contributing an x amount or more, you'd get the final for free. At that point, it'd go on the store much like the Ava Sinclaire one did. If anyone has any ideas on crowd funding, let me know. I'm not sure kickstarter would be the right way to go, perhaps go-fund-me, or doing private donations through the store as a funding "purchase."

Scripting is about 75% complete, we are still finalizing details and the conclusion, but it's looking really fun and promising.
