Quick update

Hey everybody! Wanted to give a quick update. I am currently on a much needed family vacation to the mountains! For those not in the know, I’ve suffering from burnout for the last few months and have been trying to power through in anticipation for this needed break. I recently went on adhd medicine which has definitely helped a lot but I’m still going cross eyed. I did bring my laptop to work on somethings after a few days of rest and relaxation, but it’s still going to be limited.

I did however crank this out last night! I wanted to try to push my anime rendering to the extreme and see how far I could push it. I did a lot of reading on various settings and shadow mapping, even making my own LUT for smoother shading. Anyways I know it’s not fatty art, but if you like it or not, let me know what you think :).

last update: immediately after my vacation I also have a surgery for my wrist. I maybe out of commission for a few additional days as my body begins recovery for that. I don’t anticipate it taking long for me to get back to content, but it is something to note.

Anyways, I hope everyone is having a great summer, I’ll try to get to some content while I’m here, but look for my imminent return in the coming days (probably mid to late next week)
