Sally...

I will get up each day at the crack of dawn

I will continue the endless motions

That makes this life of mine work

Putting one foot in front of the other

Over and over again

There are the last few lines from his poem, titled "I want to run away." His poem fits Sally's character a lot. Unlike the author of this poem, Sally did succeed in running away, but some part of her still thinks if she could have done something different, and found happiness in that very home she ran away from.
