Realistic Cooking Update 7.3
⚒️Version 7.3 updated to the latest version of the game.
⚒️All published recipes from new catalogs are included, custom products are added to them. Added new SS recipes.
(there doesn't seem to be a single free recipe left, including on the microwave. If you find an inaccuracy, please let us know and we will fix it)
⚒️The Pressure cooker shows products in the menu, and also works in the Simple Life mode.
⚒️Recipes from our Waffle Maker have been added to the EA Waffle Maker.
⚒️All published recipes from authors Oni28, Littlbowbub, Brazenlotus and Tianasims have been added to the menu. If you use the recipes of these authors, they will be displayed in the menu on the refrigerator.
⚒️Some game fruits and vegetables have been added to the delivery.
Why were all the fruits and vegetables removed from the delivery?
"Too many products caused the game to slow down or even crash, so we are still thinking about how to maintain this balance. It is possible that some products will be removed (and fruits and vegetables added) in the next version to facilitate loading. Our goal is to release a stable version of the mod that most players won't have any problems with."
Why are frozen vegetables, berries, and herbs not counted in recipes?
"They can be counted when a recipe requires Any Vegetable, Any Fruit, Any Berry, or Any Herbs. If the recipe requires, for example, strawberries or potatoes, they will not be counted, since they require a specific vegetable or berry."
Why does one recipe require 2 types of dough- from a mixer and a custom one?
"We will fix this point in the next version of the mod. With the release of the Home Chef Hustle catalog, the product system has changed. The custom dough will most likely be completely removed from the products, as it no longer combines with other types of dough. It's a lot of work- we need to update all the baking recipes, including our custom recipes."
⚒️Prices for basic products have been slightly reduced (so far as an experiment). There are ambitious plans to work with prices in the next version.
Will there be a Simlish version of the products?
"We have already started developing some basic products. Simlish is not our profile, it's hard for us, so we don't promise anything, but we're trying to come up with something. Most likely, there will be a second version with Simlish products for those to whom it suits the style of the game."

The [SS] EA Override Menu_Hide file has also been updated (installed optionally if you want to have a more minimalistic menu appearance).

P.S. Family recipes have not been changed yet (I tried to make a new one with our custom recipes, or include our recipes in an existing menu - the game immediately gives errors or crashes, even after 3 hours of experimentation). For now, this item has been postponed to the next version.
In the next version of the cookbook, the display of recipes in the Simple Life mode will be fixed, when products were not shown where the drop-down menu was.
And also the fruit menu will work with a Simple life. All fruit recipes will be updated (the update is optional, only for those who want free recipes not to appear in the Simple Life mode and lower prices. Fruits at 200-300 § were still too much😁).
The Pressure cooker will also be updated (for the Simple Life mode)

if the menu is not visible, make sure that you have the injector installed and the script mods are enabled in the game settings.
if I just want to cook the recipes and not have the ingredients, should i only have the cookbook and Custom recipes? I'm asking because I have too many CC and I need to streamline my mods folders. I still want to cook all the food. Thanks!
groceries are optional unless you have a special "Simple Cooking" setting for your home

hello, is there a specific place to report errors with certain recipes or post exception files? i'm having an issue with your recipes causing errors whenever a sim tries to take a serving due to: Carry target prototype:0x0000000000000000() is not carryable! and I'm unsure of where it would be appropriate to post this as it affects multiple recipes

Hi! It was removed from the previous version due to the fact that there were too many objects in the delivery and this caused some players to slow down the game. You can still do this through a cookbook.

Hi I seem to have an issue with Tianas and Oni's recipes, the Eggs you buy from your mod, the ones in cartons doesn't count towards the egg ingredient on their recipes, but the normal Cottage Living eggs does. I have SCCOR installed. I have 20 brown eggs in my fridge but the recipe still say 0/3. Do I have to buy eggs from two different sources or can I fix this somehow? Thank you for a great mod :)
Hi! It depends on whether these authors use tags or link to specific game eggs. If they put the tag "Func_Egg" in their recipes, then any eggs can be counted. "Func_Egg" This is the tag of the EA game.

The mod only includes game recipes EA. Our custom recipes are downloaded separately, but they are not required, it is optional. You can install what you need.

Hello, I updated the realistic cooking mod and I'm constantly getting an exception. Also when my sim cooks dinner from the meat category, the action just stalls and they stand there.
Hi! Can you name a specific recipe that doesn't work? I'll check at my place. In theory, all recipes should work without problems- we only change prices and products in them, the recipe itself remains the same as in the game.

I have bug with the Cookbook S&S (Addons) if i cook one meal or interaction with the normal cookbook Cookbook S&S (Addons) i get infinite saving and some text line in rusia. if installed cookbook addons only the normal cookbook is fine testend out in already.
Hi! Most likely there are errors during installation. The book itself shouldn't cause any problems, especially if the addons are working. Check if the old book is still in the files or something else is interfering.

No, you don't need to delete it. They are combined together. You only need to delete files from directories that you don't have. If, for example, you do not have the EP16 Lovestruck catalog, then you need to delete the file inside RCM_OverrideRecipes_EP16 Lovestruck.
