"He thinks he's a protagonist." Well, yeah, he just said everyone is the protagonist of their own life. That's his point.
I just realized Weld is the guy who put Momo’s tracker on the Nomu in season 2? When they captured Bakugo….
I was gonna make a comment about how the Mantis guy is a rip off of Jack from black clover until I realized that this manga came out 8 months earlier than Black Clover. There went my theory.
30 seconds in, “He looks like a boss from kingdom hearts!!” I’ve never thought of that, but he does look like a Heartless. Good call Wes!!
To be fair, Monoma's quirk is really "main protagonist" energy.
All Might is quirkless like Izuku.
Man I love Uraraka's character so much, chapters like these make her the BEST
Manoma ragebaited deku into manifesting that quirk lol
Would love y'all to reacto to the Odyssey when that comes out on streaming
We know that Deku is the 9th user of OFA. We also know that both All Might and Deku were Quirkless and that the first user, AFO’s brother, received the Stockpiling Quirk from AFO himself. That Stockpilling Quirk, combined with his “hidden" Quirk that allowed him to transfer Quirks, basically created OFA as we know it. So, if Deku is supposed to learn another six Quirks, that means each of the other successors must have had a Quirk of their own and Blackwhip is one of those six.
Say what you want about Bakugo but his fights are always very entertaining.
My boy BakuGOAT with the 5 minute flawless victory, love to see it! I also love character writing where characters grow in subtle ways over time while their base nature/ disposition and who they are at their core doesn’t… it’s so much more believable. Bakugo is right up there with Tsukishima from Haikyuu as one of my favorite examples of this!
You are forgetting a few things. All for one gave his brother the quirk to stockpile power. What they didn't know is that the younger brother already had a quirk, it was just useless without another quirk. It was the quirk to pass on quirks. That's why he was able to pass it all on to the next user. It's all in the explanation from Allmight in season 2 if you want to go back and listen to it again.
It makes complete sense for One For All to be able to stockpile Quirks since One For All's base is a combination of a power stockpiling Quirk (the energy used to enhance bodies and Quirks along with Quirks themselves both count as "power" clearly) and a Quirk transfering Quirk. It's very much the sibling of All For One. === Blackwhip is one of the six new Quirks. I see way too much confusion due to the weird phrasing of the line in this episode. The line should have been localized as something like "You will get Blackwhip plus five other Quirks". === Lemillion's Permeation being evolved by One For All could very easily be horrible unless it somehow evolves it into Phasing. I feel Permeation is way too finicky of a power without adding the unpredictability of One For All to the mix.
Well from what we've seen is that the origin of OFA is that AFO gave his brother a stockpiling power because they assumed he didn't have a quirk but he did have a quirk. His quirk was that he could pass on his quirk. Which of course doesn't really do anything unless you another quirk within you to pass on. So as it passed through 8 users it became stronger.
