Just FYI, you are walking on thin ice, I have said this on Youtube comments too. you directly share the whole episode here, which is ILLEGAL. it is matter of time before NETFLIX, CRUNCYROLL, etc fins out and literally takes down the whole patreon. what you should do is just like other reactors, ONLY POST REACTION, and give a small "timing" to allow people to use their own copy and sync with you guys. sharing the whole anime/series, is illegal. what you guys are doing is illegal. you are small right now so they did not have noticed yet. And guys at Netflix, KDrama, Kpop, Crunchyroll, etc are not going to be this nice like the sidemen were.
The content in which they create is not illegal as it falls under fair use since they're reacting and elevating the content beyond what it was originally while not serving as a market replacement for said original content. However, many find these laws outdated and they can always have some wiggle room. Anime is often hit by copyright claims and strikes but once appealed they will usually back off and not proceed with the court route as it is not worth their time or money especially since it most likely wouldn't go anywhere. Large anime channels with a huge following engage in the same business model where they upload uncut and unedited reactions to Patreon as an incentive and because Patreon offers better protections for their creators when it comes to copyright and fair use unlike Youtube where its generally shoot first no questions asked.

Bridgerton on Netflix is a pretty fun show that touches on a lot of similar real life relations. I came here for apothecary diaries and I kind of like stuff that swings back to that in terms of storytelling. Other things that are good that aren't anime are Wednesday on Netflix and Shogun on Hulu/Disney. But I don't come around much anymore so I can see my recommendations being at the bottom of the list.

Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo - would be very interested to see if anyone else would like you take a look at this hidden gem it's and oldie with an incredibly unique story and animation style that not many others have reacted to but I get the feeling you two would appreciate the show and what it has to offer you and your audience, keep up the awesome content can't wait for what's next!
Show I could suggest are Jojo Bizarre Adventure and Blue Lock. I feel like Wes in particular will enjoy Blue Lock because it's about football (soccer) and is full of low blows he enjoys, and Jojo Bizarre Adventure is a lot of fun in general.
I know this is maybe a completely out there suggestion, and perhaps they've already seen it but HBO's Succession? It is technically an American show but it has British comedy elements due to who the showrunner is, and it's certainly a masterpiece in television. I remember back when they were reacting to Death Note I really enjoyed them discussing the business and management aspects that come up later in the series, and Succession would really give them a way to dig into that topic more. Plus it's just a really excellent show that gives viewers so much to talk about.

It would be cool if there's a slot for older animes. Since a lot of fans recommend mostly newer ones that are popular right now, the chance for older shows to ever get seen is relatively low. And on the plus side: older animes will be probably new for younger generations too!

I can understand why there would be an issue with reacting to the majority of the MoreSidemen content on here but with shows like Inside and the new cooking show that are on Netflix and Amazon Prime it's just like reacting to any other show/movie on Patreon? Very strange imo.

Movies would be great. I've always wanted to do an MCU journey w/ you guys. I'd also love it if you guys could get into Korean reality TV shows (think concepts like Kian's bizarre B&B and Jinny's Kitchen): like Physical 100, Street Woman Fighter, etc. Or maybe you guys use this as a rotating slot, so like 4 diff categories + then each category gets a week of the month (eg. movies 1 week, k-reality tv 1 week, US tv shows 1 week, special request 1 week, then repeat). That way you could hit on multiple things at once, albeit a bit slower than ur normal categories

I would recommend Korean variety show such as Running man (can find the first episode on kocowa apps), Busted (Netflix),Physical 100(Netflix),The Devil Plan(Netflix),Culinary class wars(Netflix),Korea No.1 (Netflix), Jea-seok's B and B Rules (Netflix). I would also recommend more movie reaction that you guys haven't seen.

I don't care for the sidemen stuff, I don't even know who they are. But legally speaking you doing commentary/reactions over content is perfectly acceptable. I'm not sure what they could do legally. It's fair use to do commentary. But hey, I am also not a lawyer and its probably not worth the hassle fighting them.

Didn't watch your Sidemen reactions but I'm sure that's a bummer for you guys and the people who liked that so I'm sorry about that :(( I'd suggest and would love if you guys could do more movies or watch more "live action" stuff, like outside of kdrama, western shows and stuff, personally I would love if you watched House of the Dragons I'm not gonna lie to you lol, but feel free to do whatever you're comfortable with!!! (I also would love if you watched Arcane someday, I feel like you guys would really like it)
I hope they do more K-dramas and movies, I want them to familiarize themselves more with Korean culture with Korean media since they like BTS. I feel bad when they sometimes don't recognize prominent Korean celebrities featured in different shows they watch by the members. And I think they would enjoy the shows more. But then again it is what is think feel free to disagree.

I understand if you are a little dissapointed but I'm sure there will be great content to react to, As suggestions I would say reacting to movies would be a good idea, or maybe another Anime slot, you have yet to see some Great animes, maybe you could have a slot for "Retro anime" and start with Neon Genesis Evangelion, Cowboy bepop, Monster, etc. I said this in one of your Youtube videos but I think if you react to NEON GENESIS EVANGELION and put your usual title "Parents react to" that would be your most viewed video on YT for sure! you two are amazing at discussing the character's feelings and motivations and that show is so iconic that I'm sure it would be a Hit
An interesting new venture would be Donghua(Chinese animated TV) as its effectively a new "medium" of media you haven't explored. it does share quite a few similarities with anime but looking through the comments i am not the only one recommending your watch some donghua shows so here are my two recs and why: 1. To Be Hero X - i saw many people requesting this one and just wanted to add why. This show is an action series with a incredibly unique power system you guys would definitely love learning and theorizing about how it works within the plot along the way. it's also very thought provoking overall. 2. Link Click - i have a lot less to say about this simply because one of its primary strengths is its mystery and going in absolutely blind. As for the genre it mixes drama with a buddy-cop sort of dynamic

Unfortunate. Even though I was not watching the Sidemen content you guys made, it sucks for the fans that did enjoy it. Even if it doesn't benefit me or the many people asking in here, I'd personally recommend filling the spot with something non-anime related, so as to be fair for the viewers who were actually watching that content (what that is, I have no idea).

This is so sad - I actually discovered Sidemen through you guys. I guess for recommendations to fill the timeslot I think it would be interesting to react to more movies or even popular documentaries. You could also open an anime slot focused specifically on anime you want to watch (as opposed to what the subscribers want) because I think that might be interesting as well. P.S. Random recomendation but even if you have seen the movies I would love to see a reaction to Lord of the Rings from you guys.

I don't know if this is exactly what you're looking for, but "Alien Stage" is a YouTube series about humans being taken over by Aliens and being considered "pets" by the aliens. They're essentially forced to compete in life or death rounds against each other singing and dancing. It's a commentary on the k-pop/idol business and the music and animation is really good! Also safe to reacting to in its entirety

I have a suggestion for your PATREON that I'd really like you to consider. (I already leave this comment on your PATREON, but I was afraid that you might miss it, so I am leaving here also.) For viewers like us who mainly watch anime and drama reactions, I think it would be great if you added a Chinese drama slot to the schedule. The anime section is already amazing and packed with content, so I don't think anything needs to change there. You guys are doing a great job with anime. But when it comes to dramas, we usually wait a whole week for just one episode. I know you already have a lot of content to react to, but sometimes that feels like very little for drama fans. If you added a Chinese drama slot, we'd get two drama episodes a week instead of one. Chinese dramas are usually around 40 minutes long, so they're not as long as Korean dramas that can go over an hour per episode or even more. I also think it could bring in more viewers. There are a lot of people who love Chinese dramas, and I think many of them would start watching your channel because of it. Personally, I don't really watch the Sidemen videos, BTS content, or behind-the-scenes stuff. I mostly watch the anime and drama reactions. Anime fans are already eating well because there's so much content, but drama fans sometimes have to wait months to finish a single show. Most dramas take 16–20 weeks or even longer, and sometimes it's a drama that we're not that interested in, so we end up with nothing to watch. Shows like Alchemy of Souls take even longer (30 Weeks) , which feel like forever before the series is finished. That's why I hope you'll consider adding one Chinese drama slot. There are so many great Chinese dramas out there—I could probably name a hundred of them. I honestly think it would be a great addition to the channel and something a lot of viewers would appreciate and can bring you a lot of new audience who are interested in Chinese dramas. Especially now because right now Chinese dramas are at their peak, almost every single drama almost getting billions of views. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

The new Ghost in the Shell series premieres next week. This new series is only receiving a moderate level of hype, but it is a very much exciting time time for those of us who haven been Gits fans since the 90s because this is the first time in 30 years that the new series will stay 100% faithful to the original manga. The 1995 Gits movie is considered to be one of the most influential anime ever made, and is a iconic one (new series will essentially follow the plot from the movie).
Movies from different global entertainment. I haven’t explored alot outside of american entertainment. But i have seen plenty of great movies from some asian entertainment such as korean, thai and indian.
This is kinda separate but I also wanted to say that it would be awesome if we focused on newer or at least shorter running anime shows in the future (or at least gave them more slots) since if someone like me is not too interested in some the longer running shows then we have to wait like a year before we can move onto something new. Anyways it’s just smth I would appreciate but it’s a pretty tough ask since the audience picked these shows
It'll be a big pivot and for a very different demographic, but perhaps some reaction to vtubers content? Hololive, for example, is known to be very permissive in terms of using their content for monetisation.
Recommendations for future shows for anime: Zom 100 Bucket List of the Dead (12 episodes): a really good anime about Zombie apocalypse and about life. Bocchi The Rock (12 episodes plus season 2 probably in 2027): it is a music anime about personal growth and comedy especially from our main character. Grand Blue Dreaming (24 episodes with season 3 in Summer 2026): Comedy and Diving show that is in collage. To Be Hero X (24 episodes and season 2 that will be the final season that will be 24 episodes) A creative show with it's graphics and animation, strong story that you two will really appreciate. Undead Unluck (24 episodes season 1 then a special and season 2 will come out in the future) One of the best power system in recent years to come out, An Action Romance show that wants the viewer to pay attention and analyze the relationships between characters and how their powers work. Sakamoto Days (22 episodes season 1 with season 2 coming out in Winter 2027) Take John Wick and Spy x Family and combine them, you get Sakamoto Days. Wind Breaker (25 episodes) An action show that focuses on our main character and we see him grow as a person, this show have themes of acceptance and growth. The Elusive Samurai (12 episodes and season 2 comes out at July 2026) A historical revenge story with superb animation with a lot of other themes that you two would appreciate. Mashle Magic and Muscles (24 episodes with season 3 that comes out in 2027) A Comedy anime that is ridiculous and funny at the same time with colorful characters. Take Harry Potter and add to it One Punch Man and what you get is Mashle. Akane-Banshi (12 episodes and season 2 for winter 2027 ) A story about story tellers that is a breath of fresh air in recent years. The Eminences in Shadow (32 episodes with a movie that is going to be released in the future) A show that tries to take itself seriously but because our Main Character doesn't, he thinks that every other character is humoring him. The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Really Really Really Really Love You (24 episodes with season 3 for Summer 2026) A Harem, Romance, Comedy show that is really interesting because it switches between wholesome and not. The author is very talented with how he juggle a lot of characters around, every GF feels unique and different from the others. Each one gets a good screen time, all the characters help each other a lot with there personal problems. Our MC is amazing. It's a very funny show. There are a couple of problems with this show it isn't perfect. a couple of the relationships for you will be problematic. This is a show that common sense needs to be thrown out of the window the moment that you start to watch it. Orb About the Movement of the Earth (25 episodes) It's really hard to describe this show but I know that you would really enjoy it. Danmachi (74 episodes with season 6 in the workes) A Fantasy show that tells the typical story from zero to hero, with a lot of twists and each season becomes better then the previous. Wistoria Wand and Sword (24 episodes with season 3 in production) A Fantasy show with an interesting story and world that the story takes place. Shangri-La Frontier (50 episodes with season 3 for January 2027) In your reactions you always bring up video games, this anime is about video games with mystery, great worldbuilding, great action, fabulous animation, a story with a sense of adventure that makes you want to see more, the author put a lot of thought about the games that he made in his world. all the support cast is diversify and aren't feel like one note because they actually have a personality. the only problem with this show is the copyright hell that this show brings when it comes to YouTube. but as a Patreon exclusive it would be great. Heavenly Delusional (12 episodes) Mystery show that is very interesting. My Hero Academia Vigilante (26 episodes) a spinoff show of My Hero that you can watch after season 4 of My Hero. Gachiakuta (24 episodes with season 2 that would come out in the future) An Action Mystery show with an interesting world. Marraige Toxin (13 episodes and season 2 will come out Winter 2027) Daemons of the Shadow Realm Anime that I didn't watched but I would recommend: Cowboy Bebop Bleach Nippon Sangoku (12 episodes) Summer Time Rendering Link and Click Saga of Tanya the Evil The Summer Hikaru Died Yu Yu Hakusho Fire Force Samurai Champloo Golden Kamuy Monster You can also do Alice in Borderland season 3, or other shows that people here recommended

If i may suggest a solution, only if you would like to still like to react to copyrighted shows safely and legally, is to display a time stamp, maybe just the bottom portion with the subtitles, and ask your audience to sync the show along with your video, 2 downsides to this is a minor inconvenience for your patrons and you will not be able to puse the video for discussion, see if the people here don't mind and if you are up for it, an example I have is a creator by the name nerdy nightly on patron, he does it without the subtitles just the time stamp and an extremely blurred and small window to the bottom left of the screen over the timer

Sorry to hear that about the sidemen situation. Since u have a slot open u could always fill it with another anime or kdrama but I wanted to shoot the idea out there that it would be really cool if you guys tried out Bollywood movies! Not only do they get a lot of clicks in recent days but it feels like a completely separate side of the world that has actually been stepped into by a lot of other reaction channels. I would have so many recommendations like 3 Idiots or the Dhurundhar duology that yall would prolly really enjoy. Idk it was just a food for thought since this is so different from your usual stuff but I would totally understand why it might not be feasible if the majority of your audience may not be interested in these sorts of reactions. Anyways hope yall stay happy & healthy!

This is sad for the people who where watching Sidemen content. But on the bright side maybe they'll react to something new. I'm a animé fan so I could really enjoy a reaction to Youjo senki (Tanya the evil). There is also a new really good drama from a manhwa I love called get schooled. It's really worth the watch.
no worries, guys! as long as you aren't facing any copyright or legal issues. i wonder though, would there be any way to work around this and still react to sidemen, maybe you'll be able to post some of this content on youtube instead (i'm aware it won't work with inside or the netflix documentaries, but moresidemen content should be fine, iirc)?
I think they're free to react to whatever is available for free on YouTube as long as they upload it to YouTube rather than Patreon, but they can't post stuff like Side+ or Inside.

Or from my original post if you guys have a slot open for tv shows then summertime rendering is your best bet because it’s a complete show with one season and has the same themes as rezero but way better if you can believe it with very likable characters and a great story from start to finish
I guess you could consider reacting to some Korean variety shows (whatever's popular with your viewers), unless you'd rather stick with Western content for the slot?
This sucks, I feel like the group I grew up with are constantly making the worst decisions. I'd 100% recommend checking out more ChrisMD, Arthur Hill's Platform Roulette series, Friends From Work and maybe the Bov Boys stuff in that slot. Similar vibes and audience

Honestly, whatever you would enjoy to watch

I think their reactions are better suited for something that makes them think and discuss more. I think they would enjoy something extremely lore-heavy and detailed like Lord of Mysteries. Especially with season 2 coming possibly end of this year or sometime next year. And season 2 as far as I remember will introduce a lot of crazy stuff. I would love to see them try piece everything together.

Ahhhh I’m so sad. I originally joined because of the Sidemen reactions but I love you guys so will always support you still :) as for other things… ummm maybe continuing with the British TV shows?? I’d personally love to see you guys react to something like Skins, Tracey Beaker, Afterlife, Shameless, Fresh Meat, Friday Night Dinner, Merlin, Pramface, Misfits, Derry Girls, etc etc. :) plus it still kinda caters to that British audience??
