I think the word for that kind of guy Mantle is a "toady."

I'm happy to see you watched the ending of this episode its very fun ,even though we've seen his dad, its a nice ending reminding us of even though Senku seems so composed he's putting aside personal callings and his emotions to help others and humanity, The flashback was in episode 4 when Tsukasa asks Senku to give up science, and he flashes back to his childhood, showing how his father sold his car to fund his first lab, proving he could never abandon the science his dad sacrificed so much for.

I 100% agree with Wes about Gen. Gen started out as a character I didn't think I was going to like, but he's a really fun character. He's a mentalist and a manipulator, skills that are kinda anathema to pure science. And the fact that he was thawed out by Tsukasa personally means Tsukasa believes Gen is willing to work for his team as well.

This is a perfect example of letter of the law/rules or spirit of the law/rules the guy judging the bouts seems more letter of the law as he was ok with magna playing dirty because it was not against the rules I am assuming he didn't hear what they were saying because I would count that as giving up but he did allow the helmet as well another example of him being about how the rules are written because personally I would disqualify someone for getting additional equipment mid match so I don't think it's him makeing up for a bad decision he is just strict on the letter of the law although that can really suck as we saw it can lead to not cheating cheating especially if people are clever about it

Suika mentioned not being able to hear what Magma and Kinro were discussing, so yeah, I don't think Jasper (the judge) heard either. So it just seemed like Kinro carelessly turned his back on his opponent. Still super dirty tactic regardless.

Loved the reaction as always, Btw since You keep mentioning how hard it was for the author to come out with all these Ideas, the creation behind the original manga was in charge of 3 persons: one Illustrator, one writer and one scientific consultant which job was to offer all the science explanations or applications in the story, they Even used extra scientific consultants on some arcs that required "extra science" if we can even Say It like that lol

Prospective hindsight You imagine that the competition has already ended and that you are the winner. Then you picture someone asking you, “How did you win?” Instead of trying to guess what to do from the beginning, you describe the successful result as if it has already happened. This changes the way you think about the problem. Your mind starts working backward from victory and looks for the decisions, actions, and details that must have led to it. That can make the situation feel less confusing because you are no longer staring at many possibilities; you are building one clear path toward the result. It can also reduce stress and increase confidence. You stop focusing only on the possibility of failure and begin mentally rehearsing a successful strategy. It does not guarantee that you will win, but it can help you organize your thoughts, notice useful ideas, and decide what your first step should be.
