One Piece Skypiea Episodes 5-8

I wouldn't be so sure, some jungle vines are super strong, you'd be surprised. Oh and the one that attacked their ship at the start was indeed Wyper so Wes is correct, he was just wearing an oversized mask, everything else looks the same. The Shandians having wings doesn't make them related to the Sky people, their ancestors are completely different. Still, I have to say you guys went crazy with the theories at the end there, being so hung up on Nolan and all, but what really cracked me up was how you pronounced Enel lmao

I still don't get Wesley's obsession on making everyone who looks similar, uses similar things or wears similar outfits family :D That's like saying everyone who plays football is related, cuz they wear kits, play the same sport and a lot of them have similar features lol

You guys are watching at such a good pace, these weekly reactions have become the highlight of my week

Off topic but you talked about Dune worm so it reminded me you reacted to dune 1, do you plan to react to Dune 2?

"Maybe he was torn limb from limb..." I love Robin's morbid imagination.😂 Enel is pronounced with soft e's not hard e's. So it sounds more like 'N.L.' The ring of drums that Enel wears is based on the Japanese Lightning God Raijin who wears the same ring of drums. This is why you've see the same symbology appear in Demon Slayer and possibly elsewhere.

Here I am with the fun facts in these episodes: First, just as in Alabasta Sanji's VA voiced Karoo, here in Skypia, Pierre "the Pegasus" is voiced by Zoro's VA, and in future arcs there are several extra characters voiced by the Straw Hats And second, in the party scene with the wolves, the song they dance to and that is heard in the background is called Family and is sung by the 6 voice actors of the Straw Hats (so technically the song is sung by Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Robin and Chopper)

Rap God Enel, nice enjoy.

wes and zoro on the same page

The Rap God Enelnem has finally made his appearance.

"Chopper... chop" is so funny.

It’s amazing how less annoying Satori is in the One Pace version. He is a splinter in the brain in the OG

Hello guys! I would recommend that you start avoiding titles of episodes because it can be spoilery, and get even more spoilery later in the show

surprised no one mentioned it but enel is designed after eminem

I like Wes’s serious interpretation of the Ordeal of Balls as a test of courage 😂

what do you guys mean sentient wolves , every animal in one piece is sentient , oh and who fixed the ship surely we gonna find out soon , sure we gonna find out this arc, and you guys dont understand , we helped the oppressed if our female friend we just made is suffering because of it , so connie didnt make a good case.

SAY WHAT YOU WILL ABOUT SKYPEIA, haters and whatever but the story in this arc is amazing

I swear Wes has referenced something from The Mummy before and had that exact same reaction to her not having seen the movie, lol.

The lamprey is not a leech it is a very unique fish it doesn't have bones or jaws but does have teeth and has an eye mainly for detecting shadows rather than normal sight and feeds on other fish on the odd case they do attach to people it's normally just a mistake and deattach shortly after or they are trying to stop getting washed away by the current fun fact king Henry the 1sts last meal had lamprey as part of it apparently it tastes like stewed beef never tried it myself just what I have heard And the similarities between the design from demon slayer and enel come from a Japanese god called Raijin not going to go to much into the god as it might spoil stuff that I don't remember but one funny thing the god is known for is stealing and eating childrens uncovered bellybuttons

Every time I rewatch any of sky island I just realize all over again that it’s a place they found their way to WAY too soon. Feels like Wes/Steph were on point when they said they felt like the crew “accidentally stumbled upon a hidden stage in a video game.” 😭 All the lore & whatnot is so fascinating though, feels like a whole new world being explored all its own.

its en elle not en eeel the streak of getting names wrong continues! ive been subbed for like 3 and a half years and i dont think ive ever seen Wes fail to get the name of a key character completely wrong lol

Enel’s character design 10/10.

I knew y’all would love this arc!! There’s even more interesting twists and stuff to come so be prepared!!

Stone soup is a real thing lol
