It is funny because at least here in Spain, Army is mostly 30-50 years old. Like my mum is also an army and when we go to events I am normally among the youngest (I am 25) and people are mostly my mum age range (55). I think that it is sooo cool and how that changes depending on the country is also cool

I’ll be celebrating my 56th birthday with bts & army in Vegas in 2 weeks:) I’ve been army since April 2019. Will be my 6th bts/solo concert w/ my friend Donna also in her 50’s🫰🏻💜 we live in the Pacific Northwest. RM calls us DOPE OLD ARMY🥹

the thing with Dynamite, Butter, and PTD is that they were very strategic, specific songs made for one purpose: easy going, globally accessible, happy tracks to cheer people up during a pandemic. Then the general public loved those songs more than BTS expected, and suddenly the general public only recognized BTS by those songs. But ARMY didn’t, and still doesn’t. I hold those in a special place in my heart, but they are probably the last BTS songs out of their discography that I’m listening to. One of the biggest reasons Arirang is so loved among ARMYS, especially ARMYs who’ve been fans for many years, is because it sounds like old BTS but just matured, AKA exactly what Namjoon said in his interview.

they were not “very strategic” they were simply released to cheer ppl up, there was no other plans behind it or strategy those songs just came out as a result of all their plans getting cancelled and them trying to keep things in place/together. the release may have been random but they’re also still very BTS songs, there’s no “old bts” bc since debut they’ve always experiments and change with every of their new comeback. the only consistent within their artistry/musical career is their root in hiphop and passion for their crafts.

There have been British and Canadian super bowl performers. but they're western so no one cares. the "America" people only get mad if its a POC that also speaks another language other than english. look at how much shit bad bunny got who is AMERICAN just because it was Spanish and he's brown. imagine 7 non Americans singing in Korean. I want it for them since they want it but I also don't because the amount of shit they get already for just existing is insane. I want them far away from the weird football fans and racist, xenophobic, homophobic and every ist/phobic American that's gonna have an ignorant and loud opinion.

I dont want to go into old news now but it was a whole scandal and it was revealed that someone who was in the industry went out to a shaman to pray on their downfall during their military service... yikes 😬 also this is me not explaining it well at all, just long story short 😭 regardless, I enjoyed these interviews! it was nice that they managed to get a full group one and each individual. also you guys' reaction when you found out about 'seven (explicit version)' took me out lmao 🤣

Yesss, I love that you are finally getting to see how every member has serious thoughts/answers. As we all know, you guys got into bts because of their variety show, but I'm just glad you are watching this. I remember watching many vlives back then when all the members would talk about their nervousness of how people would react to the music, their concerns about the direction of the albums, their emotions/vulnerabilities and etc. Just like many of us have said, bts music has grown with them. Before suga did his first mixtape of agust d, he would go live and talk about his depression and etc, but when he closed that door during the encore of his final concert, we knew for a fact that negative mindset was gone for good just like he said in this interview ( even though i keep my receipts of what happened). Jin has always had that mindset of seriousness with alot of wisdom ( he does have that playfulness, but when he has that serious look, i don't wanna piss him off in his hyung mode)but even when he doesn't know the impact of quotes that he has said over the years has helped us in our lives. When you can tell he has those conversations with the members individually and as a group on the many times they talked about how each other is feeling. Rm is on another level when it comes to this and he has always had that who am I mindset of himself and the group before bts debut . At the end of the day, it's good and bad to have that mindset because without being who they were from the beginning, bts (anyone in general) would not have been who they are now. APOBANGPO 💜
