Solstice! How are you honouring this sacred marking in the spiral?

“ I can’t sleep!” - I sing to Toby at 2:30am on summer solstice night…

It’s still 30degrees, we stay up discussing the ancient significance of staying awake, spending the darkness in ritual especially around solstice and equinox dates…honouring the cosmos we come from, undertaking our roles in the cycles and sacred spirals..

Psychedelics, shamanic rights, sitting in communion with the ancestors of the land, my ancestors through blood, the children of Danu, ascended masters, ancient wise ones who wish to connect…to listen to spirit speak… 

Summer solstice is Yang! External, the longest day of the year and so I spend the entire day in awe and ritual. The energy of the ancient sun is main focus, ra amut, sekhmet, sirians…singing to the birds and thanking each light code full of love!!!

Meditation in the morning rays, reading oracle and yoga, stretching my body under the sun…several dips in the sacred spring that bubbles straight out of the mountain…using stones to mark out the stars, the midday point of the sun etc. 

Watering the gardens!!! Giving love to the life forms that I am no seperate from. Honouring the interconnected web of consciousness that the great mother spider weaves…

Sx, sweaty sweaty sx…soul satisfying…

Listening to and letting the journey of sound and some epic songs guide me to dance…rolling hips, releasing and giving into the healing power of sound to express, to connect, to rebalance, dance as an embodiment of celebration!!!

Cooking organic local food full of life force and love, meals from scratch, hours of devotion, taking the time to fuel my mind body and soul>>>> 

Praying at the altar, making offerings of juicy dates and black sapote + a smoke, speaking with the elders, Tao study of tantric practises to enliven and enrich myself and my life…

Journalling on my manifestations of current…what are my intentions? Where do I intend to use/embody my energy? What direction does my heart feel called? 

9pm hits and it’s still light out, i know there isn’t much sleep on the cards for me this night, but as mentioned above it always leads into expansion of perception and that’s why I’m here, evolution.

Honouring the ancient ways, the “old” “auld” ways, embodying my happiness and hearing the sacred song of the universe I celebrate solstice as such!
