Dev Update! 2/26/24

Hey-hey, friends! Hope everyone's week is off to a good start.

I'm still rolling right along, and renders are currently hovering around 370. At present, I'm backtracking and filling in some scenes that I realized were necessary for the story to flow better. Bad news is that adds a little writing/rendering time. Good news is you get to see Pepper again, sooner than originally planned! I'm sure Guy will have some things to discuss with her..

I discussed this in my Sneak Peek post over the weekend, but I'll go ahead and give everyone here a heads-up, too. In writing this chapter, I decided to fill it out a little more, adding two scenes that weren't previously planned, but fit in too well to skip. So, rather than be the quick-ish 600 render update I planned, it'll be closer to the normal 1000-1200. Still shooting for a March release date, though. I've got a vacation from the day job coming up, and I'm going to try to position myself for some long days of rendering, by having a bunch of scripts completed.

Speaking of vacations: Once the next chapter's out, I'm going to take a much-needed break from development work, and catch up on some real-life things I've been ignoring for the last, oh, two years or so. Time flies!

In all seriousness, I've been needing a break for quite a while, and it feels like pausing development before the re-release of Chapter One just makes the most sense. At that time, I'll halt everyone's pledges, and come back refreshed and ready to sling some smut. If I had to guess, I'd say the pause will happen around the first of May, and last until the first of June.

So, my current goal is to make the next update jam-packed, so everyone has something to sink their teeth into while I'm on hiatus. We'll be seeing a lot of the love interests that have been MIA for a bit, with Risa, Pepper, Viola, Nicki, Mason, Alex, Gabby, and Madison all making appearances -- some brief, some not-so-brief. I'm pretty excited about it!
