Dev Update! 4/13/26

Hey there, friends! Hope your week’s off to a good start! I had a small hiccup over the last week, when my main PC began suffering from regular crashes. After diagnostics I found some of my RAM had gone bad, and needed to be replaced. I was stuck waiting for the new RAM to arrive in the mail until yesterday, when I thought to scope out the local Best Buy. Lo and behold, I found a nice RAM kit on sale, and was able to install it yesterday. Crisis averted! 

.. besides the fact I need to return the other kit I purchased, I guess. 😓

This all did cause a hiccup with the upcoming Ch14 beta release. I’m still trying to get it ready, but I’m not sure if I’ll quite get it done by Wednesday as planned. If not, I’ll just unlock the alpha for the $5 tier, and the beta will be ready when it’s ready.

Likewise, Chapter 15 was coming along pretty well, with the first act fully rendered, before I hit a wall with the tech issues. I’ll be back to it soon enough. I was still able to pose some renders and work on the script, so that’s something.

Finally, I’m going to try something out for this dev cycle, and only post one in-game image for the dev updates. With this chapter being small, I really don’t want to give away too much. But I’ll be sharing other stuff – costume designs, set designs, and random fun stuff. So, this week enjoy some Cutiedoll costume designs, and the design for Kat the librarian’s living room, from Ch16.
