Dev Update! 2/9/26

Hey friends, hope your week’s off to a good start! I’m at my day job right now, and it’s kinda been beating up on me all day, and I’m tired. So I’ll try to keep this relatively short.

For the past few days I’ve been bouncing between fixing bugs and typos present in the Chapter 14 test build, as well as working on renders to finish out Gabby’s scenes. As always, huge thanks to everyone who’s played the test build and submitted bug reports – and an extra special thanks to the eagle-eyed player who played through Season 1, and caught several typos that managed to slip past me. You dudes are the best!

On the rendering front, I’ve officially completed Gabby’s love path content. Not too much more to do, now. But I unfortunately need to leave town for a couple days this week, during which time I won’t be able to progress forward. Still, progress grinds on. I’ll get it out before the end of this month, but I can’t offer much of a deadline besides that.

In general adult game dev news, Discord’s going to begin making their users verify their age, or else be locked into a ‘teen’ mode where they can’t view adult channels. This is concerning for the typical reasons of our ever-eroding anonymity and privacy. But it’s also worrisome because Discord’s already been the subject of a leak where 70,000 user photos were compromised and potentially stolen.

I could say a lot about my thoughts on the subject.. But as I said at the start: I’m tired. My back hurts and my brain is mush, today. Instead I’ll just lament the ever-shifting sands beneath the feet of adult content creators, and the folly of putting your trust into companies that can and will change their policies at a moment’s notice. And I’ll put my mind how to best protect my burgeoning career in this space, as well as the community that’s sprouted up around this strange little thing I make.

As always, take care of yourselves – and thank you for your support.
