Dev Update! 9/16/24

Hey, hey folks! Hope you're all doing well this week! I'll get right into the dev news, since your ol' buddy Neon's a little sleepy, today.

A few days ago I released a new demo build with roughly 780 new images, containing roughly 3/4 of the planned content for Chapter 10. But, there were some gaps in the build. Some dialogue wasn't fully coded around certain variables, some images were missing, and certain names didn't display properly while characters were speaking. I've since filled in those gaps, and I'll be uploading a new demo build for $15+ subscribers tomorrow.

With that out of the way, I'm now focusing my attention on Mason's shopping scene. I've been trying to re-optimize the clothing store setting a bit, and light it in a more attractive way than the last time we saw it. So far, so good! Always grateful to revisit a scene, and (try to) do it better than the last time.

I'm hoping to wrap that shopping scene up by the weekend, and then add Mason's big ero scene a few days after that. Then, I'll just need a little scene that leads from Mason, to Gabby. I'm cautiously optimistic about my progress, and doing my best not to over-complicate anything, as I'm often wont to do. But, once those Mason scenes are done, I'll have 90% of the content for the chapter completed. Gabby's the remaining 10%.

It goes without saying, but I really appreciate everyone bearing with me as my plans for this installment grew and changed. I'd planned for a modest update of 600~ renders, and now it's looking like it'll be double that, and land closer to 1100-1200. Current total is right around 835.
