Dev Update! 8/26/24

Hey, friends! Hope you're all well this week! I've got two co-workers who recently came down with strep throat, and today I'm suffering from some chills and nausea. This is your friendly reminder that if you're sick, it doesn't make you tough to come in and get everyone else sick. It just makes you a dickhead.

Moving on!

Today I cleaned up a bunch of script logic stuff, revolving around a Mason scene. I'm still not entirely sure everything's perfect, and I still need to do some 'pick-up' renders, but it's coming along. Once those extra renders are done, and I've run some playtests with the script, I'll be putting out a new demo version for $15+ subs. Planning to have it out by the end of the month!

Over the weekend I finished up Britt's scene that I've previously teased. That added 80+ renders, and a fun little mini-event to the script. I'm now working on the next mini-event, which you can see up above. The whole thing's written, and it's a pretty, quick, breezy little thing to render. Should be done with it in the next couple of days.

 So, here's where things stand:

• Currently at 631 renders for Chapter 10.

• I'm wrapping up this section that features Nicki and Mason, and serves as a bridge to five possible scenes.

• One of these possible scenes (Britt's at Chesty Cheetahs) is done in its entirety. One (the park scene above) is written and the environment/characters prepped for rendering. One (a mystery scene) is half-finished. One (an ero scene with Mason) is plotted out. One (Mason's shopping scene) is plotted out, half-scripted, and has all the environment/characters prepped.

• So, my immediate goal is to finish all of the above. I plan to have the park and mystery scene completed by month's end. That will leave September to do Mason's shopping and ero scenes, Gabby's content, and a bridge scene that connects them. It's a good bit of stuff to finish over the next few weeks, but I'm feeling optimistic.

I was reviewing the number of renders for Gabby and Viola's outfit try-on scenes, and they really weren't too bad. Plus, it helps that it all takes place in two modest locations, which render pretty quickly. As long as I can resist my standard urge to go too big/crazy with Mason's shopping scene, I should be okay. We all know I'm the very model of restraint, when it comes to these things. Right? Right?!
