Valbjorn FULL TIME!

I have some very exciting news...

I'm now full time!

As of yesterday, I left my job of 5 years in art fabrication to pursue my passion.  You may know him as "Valbjorn".

Working in art fabrication was an amazing experience and I'll never forget the time I had with my co-workers and all the endless projects we worked through together.  Many exciting times working with artists and publishers to produce fine art and restorations to be shown in museums, exhibitions, public installations and the private market all around the world.

It was an exciting job and it allowed me to hone my skills in fabrication such as welding, polishing, shaping metal and core materials, powder coating, finishing processes, you name it.  So many skills that I now apply to making my own artform in miniatures.

I was a work horse and I took my job very seriously.  I used to work long hours, putting my body through whatever it took to get the job done.  I took great pride in my work and I wish I could share it with you all, but alas, it has to remain a memory.  The fine art world, especially the fabrication side, is quite clandestine in this regard and I will respect that.

My heart aches writing this as I think about my lovely times in that environment but it wasn't meant to be forever.  For reasons of my mental and physical health, I needed to leave that world and enter a new one.

While this all sounds sad, I assure you, with every fiber of my being, I am happier than I've ever been in this community making miniature artwork and sharing my skills with others through my Patreon.

The friends I've made in just the short time have been a deeper connection than I've ever felt.

I feel at home.

So please, if you have a minute, #sharethehobbylove and spread the news.  Valbjorn is here to stay.  Check out my work, check out my patreon, message me, heart me, hug me :)

I fucking love you guys!

Thank you thank you thank you to all my wonderful patrons who are supporting me and making this possible.  You fill my heart with so much joy.

So many announcements to come.  I have big plans for Valbjorn including my own miniatures, accessories, and experiences.  A loyalty program on Patreon that will reward long time members and give them discounts to all my future offerings.

Never stop exploring, never stop learning!
