Passport obtained!
I received my passport in the mail yesterday and it was a big moment for me! I've never been outside the US and until I started my hobby journey and met all of you wonderful people, I really had no desire to travel.
Now it's all I can think about.
Not to get ahead of myself but I think it's important to set goals and work toward them. After I am able to support myself fully with Valbjorn my end goal is to be able to travel to different countries and teach.
Sculpting on minis, creating stories, teaching, painting, and meeting wonderful people like you guys are all things I'm very passionate about, and am working my hardest to make this a career.
I've been speaking with Miniwargaming Dave and we're going to be setting up an interview and hang sesh up at his bunker in Canada. My first trip outside the country and it's for the hobby! No solid date yet, but probably this summer.

May I ask, are you planning on a class while up here? The bunker is a bit of a drive but I can make it work if that is a possibility of happening. I travel down that way to fish quite often, about a 2.5-3hr drive. If thats a no go, is this something you might look into in the future?
I didn't have it planned but it's not out of the question. I'll see what Dave has planned and I'll make an announcement here once I have my agenda. It's definitely something I'll be doing in the future if it doesn't work out this time.

Yes! Man, I have been to 49 states and about 20 countries and all of them have something new and unique that will help you grow as a human. Congrats to you and safe travels!!!

Oh shit! go to germany too! they speak english better than most of the US, so you will be fine...tons of castles, meat, cheese and beer as well!
