Adepticon 2026: Workshop Tickets go LIVE today!
Good morning everyone,
I am writing to all of you on this lovely Sunday morning to prepare you for the upcoming ticket sales for my Adepticon workshops!
I have some exciting new additions to the lineup, my favorite of which is sculpting scenery! We'll be learning the basics of polymer clay and how to build out and refine cliffs and rocks for a small scene. To say I'm excited to bring this course to Adepticon is an understatement. I love sculpting rocks.
Sword Making is another favorite of mine. Similar, but very different than the axe workshop from last year. The hand motions and techniques for making a sword blade can differ greatly from an axe blade, and it's something I'm excited to bring to the table.
Advanced beards will be focused on layering putty types to achieve soft, realistic hair volumes and textures. I'll be teaching you my favorite putty mixtures and techniques to blend and build. I'll be going into the additions of rings and braids as well, so don't miss it if you're looking to level up your detail work on hair.
Lastly I couldn't be more excited to teach a focused course on Preparing and Cleaning Models! This course will be all about my favorite techniques for material removal and preparation of a model to a high level. Preparing a model for putty and paint can be an extremely rewarding process, and I'm going to show you how to relish it.
