At least the Space Wolves got some love. The Blood Angels refresh was such a let down. I like a lot of these models and I don't even play Space Wolves haha.
Using the clean slate primaris video you could shave them down to their base poses and turn them into blood angels! I'm picking up some emperor's children to do the same with wolf scouts
Im sure im not the only one that thinks this, but im betting there is GW modeler subbed to Val. That wolf guard leader head screams Valbjorn inspired. Not to mention the Greytide bits had to put a fire in them to step up their game.
How doable is it to remove the, I think you called them "toenails" from kits that don't have separate leg pieces? Like for example some of the easy to built kits have. Asking because I really like some of the poses of the easy to built kits (e.g. the squad from the 2017 starter that has a lot of fire down the barrel poses).
I might have some easy build kits lying around, so I'll see if I can put together a tutorial on modifying them. Take your time and go slow with the removal. I would clip off what I could reach and then use a file and hobby blade to take care of the rest. Be careful when clipping not to get too deep or you'll stretch the plastic (the white effect that appears when you bend/clip it), you don't want that to go beneath the area you're going to be removing material down to. Hope that helps!
