Two-day Workshop at Miniac's Mausoleum!

In October 2024, Valbjorn will emerge from his lair to continue his saga in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

In this two-day, hands-on workshop, you will join forces with Valbjorn to learn his kitbashing and sculpting techniques.

Lessons will include:

• Epoxy putty fundamentals (putty types, mixing, application)

• Learn how to make weapon blades from scratch

• Create convincing leather and wraps

• Creating and applying rivets

I will be delving deep into the process of refining cured putty. This careful technique can be honed to sharpen your fine motor skills as well as your axe blades. I will show you how to file and scrape with a feather touch to expand your toolbox of techniques to apply to your kitbashing.

This workshop will also dispel the mysteries of epoxy putty (such as Green Stuff and Milliput) and empower you to explore the realm of customizing your miniatures exactly how you want.

Bring your own model or project. I suggest a Warhammer miniature in 32mm scale. We will be mostly learning processes off of the model but it will be good to have a model near for comparison.

Sculpting materials and tools will be provided. If you have your own sculpting and kitbashing tools, you are encouraged to bring them.

I couldn't be more excited to be doing a workshop at Scott's place. I've had the pleasure to hang out with him at conventions and we've always had a great time. One of my highlights of last Adepticon was being swept away to see Dune with him on a whim!

I'll be posting this to Instagram later today so if you're interested in a seat, make sure to let me know asap and I'll get you booked.
