WeatherFX Rain Mod V1.0.1
Realistic rain for BeamNG.drive. It works on vanilla cars and most mod cars without any setup.

- v1.0.1 fixed Vulkan rendering mode from crashing.
Features
- Rain on the glass that runs, merges and gets cleared by working wipers
- Water beads on the paint, wheels and tires
- Wet roads with puddles and reflections
- Rain is blocked while under shelter.
- Hydroplaning that depends on speed, water depth and tire type
- Tire spray and puddle splashes
- Lightning and thunder
- Raindrops on the camera lens
Works on all Vanilla vehicles and most modded vehicles.
Requires BeamNG.drive 0.40 or newer.
Instructions:
Go to the environment tab
Then go to "more time & weather options"
Set the weather to whatever you like!

I have the bug, that there arent rain drops on every vanilla vehicle.
Doesn't work dynamically, no support for career mode, it's buggy, it's unoptimized AAAAND it's paid, what a time to be alive

The rain doesn't appear on the paint, just the glass and other npc car and environment things.

hi man. It has a bug where raindrops show only on the glass but not on the body for some reason. in first session, it worked, then I reloaded the game, and the bug appeared

Please make HDR support better, the reflections on the road appear spotty and weird. If there would be a settings menu to adjust the settings it would be great since my fps dropped by ~10-15. Thanks!!

Works. There are visual glitches on some cars. Specially in wagons. Also can't seem to make it work in career. Is it not possible?
It would be nice if you have the ability to turn the windshield wipers off. Or they turn off when the car is off, just like irl. Other than that the mod is fire! Good job

It's way more work and VERY nice for it to be free - but it *would* be nice to have a WeatherFX tier that's not tied to the Cars or Trucks tiers in Patreon.

This is the greatest BeamNG mod ever. I played QuantV in GTA5 and Pure in Assetto Corsa. Your rain fx has almost everything they have. Thank you for making this long-awaited feature ready for BeamNG. However, I tested only the cars in your \vehicles mod folder work. Please make RR's Mustang S650 and BMW mods work for rain; I hope it supports all other vehicles as well soon.
Let me correct my post: your Weather FX works with most vanilla BeamNG vehicles, but not all, and most mods still don't work. Please keep up the great work!

Mod does not seem to work on the Linux native build. It just crashes the game. Unfortunately BeamNG 0.40 is unplayable through Proton at the moment. However, the mod does work through Proton.
my multiplayer server with this mod wont load in once i added it.
I clicked "More Time & Weather Options", but I don't see any bar to change the weather?
you have to actavate the mod in "Reposetory"

Not really, but there are settings under the mods tab to lower the quality of the different elements to make it run better if you are having issues
