Thank-you. It means everything.
So for those of you who have joined since last year, I make a very personal post on Thanksgiving, thanking you, all of you-even those who have since left and can't read this at the moment-for supporting this Patreon. There are those who support me outside of it(E-Junkie, conventions), and those who support me non-monetarily too.
I say "thank you" and "thank you for your support" quite often. It feels like sometimes it's become habit or forced...I guess I wanted to make sure that you all knew just how much I meant it each time. There isn't a day that goes by I don't feel gratitude for this site and the hundreds of people on it that let me draw for a living. You are taking your income and bit-by-bit helping me have my own. It can go up, it can go down, it's not a guarantee or a certainty. Therefore I can't afford to take it for granted, and every day I try to think about how I can best please you guys. I know I won't be able to make everyone 100% happy, but keeping it varied, fresh, trying new things, being open to critique and feedback I think is the best I can do.
I try very hard to respond everyone, and take criticism seriously. I was raised low-mid class with, still, a lot of student loan debt that makes me appreciate all of this support in helping pull me out and do some good for others. It's just furry porn, but still, it's something I suppose! As cheesy as it sounds, I believe the person matters more than the pledge; I pay more attention to the number of Patrons than the totals. I want people to get their support's worth of process and content regardless of tier, and I'm thankful that you all have been both confirming that, and offering feedback on how to better improve it.
I am not the best, nor quickest, artist. I don't move as quickly uploading tons of finalized work as some other artists, nor as many. But I hope my effort and gratitude shows; I don't want to come off as lazy or taking this support for granted, because I certainly don't. I worry how it looks sometimes, given my lack of volume or quality compared to other artists. Maybe that's just the inner self-criticism talking.
So, TL;DR: Thank you. And I hope your stay, however long, to my Patreon, is worth it.
