October Plans SO FAR

HEY!! So we're on the other side of my first video essay in a year and it went...pretty okay. People seemed to like it a lot. It didn't get a ton of views but that was probably because of the fact that it was about Yu-Gi-Oh. But oh well!!! Lets talk 'next step' stuff.

So I have two other videos written. One is about a horror movie that is neat but isn't necessarily seeing mass appeal. I think this will become a series that I'm right now deciding to call "SCARY, BUT ALSO NEW." This one, because it is shorter, should probably be seeing the light of day very soon. There's will likely not be credits on it given that it's so short...like 5 minutes. This is kinda great because it means I can make short videos a lot more frequently. I think I am often pressured to make things that are long and analysis-like...but sometimes my writing is best suited towards just telling you something is cool and that I like it. So small scale series with some analysis but nothing huge, more frequently and semi-essay like instead of just being a vlog. NEAT.

Next up, we got another video essay coming. It's about a particularly strange and expansive series of horror movies. I'm actually planning a few of these videos as well. This one is gonna be really weird and wild. With all the videos from here on out I will also be incorporating a more diverse shooting style like I did in the Yu-Gi-Oh video. This will be possible from the time I have gained by hiring an editor. GEORGE. GEORGE IS MY EDITOR NOW. 

So how about that? Two new videos in the next couple weeks and I have a lot of ideas for others as well depending on how fast I can write and put these together. As you can tell, things are really picking up steam around here and...I'm kinda on fire. I'm doing a lot of my best work ever and that's going to continue. It's kind of amazing what having good people around that love and care about you can do for one's spirit. I feel completely new and powerful for the first time in years. I know I have the capability to make some of your favorite videos on YouTube. I know that's why most of you are here. My brand is very much to take something that's kinda boring but impactful like film analysis and to take it to a place where it's impossible not to have fun and love. That's me and that's going to be me for the forseeable future. I plan to only have good news for y'all in the future. I will absolutely keep you posted.
