NEW VIDEO COMING SOON
Heya babes,
So I've shot the final video in my current studio space, before packing everything up I'm going to take some pictures and post them here because every time someone sees my space they're shocked by how little I actually have. And it's continued to shrink over time as well, to be honest, it's rather suffocating so it's good that I'm getting my own place. Speaking of which, I now have an apartment, I'm moving in on August 10th and spent most the day getting everything ready for the move. Looking forward to moving more than you could possibly imagine. Here's to a stress-free work environment that's also a home, a home would be very nice.
But oh yeah, right, the video. It's a brief and weird analysis of Neil Cicierega's Mouth albums. The idea mostly came from the fact that I had a lot of thoughts on the diversification of music and 'genre.' It feels to me that nothing is just metal or just electronic or just hip-hop these days, there's an infinitely growing number of subgenres of music that kinda makes us feel like we're being confined as an audience to different subcultures. Nothing is just pop anymore. So this is where I get into Neil's music and how it...okay look, I could just write out the entire video here but it would probably just work better if you watch it. I feel that I can be rather eloquent with the written word but that's not why any of you are here.
Anyways, point is the next video is in editing and you have a little tease on what it's gonna be. I really hope you enjoy it and I look forward to showing it to you.
Next-ly (is this a word?) I'm thinking I'm going to be posting more stuff here, not just behind the scenes stuff but everything. I want to turn this into a blog as well as a site where I post my stuff. I want to use this platform for more that just giving you my videos. Do you actually want this or would this suck? Please let me know.
Anyways, it's time for me to go to Ikea and look at cabinets so I'll read your responses soon. Thank you all for continuing to support me.

Hey, are you going to keep your PO box when you move? I'm making you sort of a housewarming gift but it would probably be easier if you can pick it up after you've moved around all your crap.

Not gonna lie, this might be the most hyped I've been for one of your videos. Can't wait! As far as making this sort of a blog, I think that depends on what you want out of a blog in the first place. You're limiting your audience by having a blog here, but these people are the ones that clearly support you. I think it's worth it.
