Hazelnut Latte v0.15 Progress Report 1/6/26

Happy New Year, everyone!

We're back from our holiday time off and ready with a new Progress Report! Patreon was messing up my old ones and seemed to prefer them to be wide like this, so hopefully this shows up better. It's now more clearly broken down, and I've removed completed bars to save space.

Coding and writing didn't see any progress since Lotus, and I were pretty much gone the whole last two weeks. But now that we're refreshed, we're gonna get right back to it! We had a big two hour meeting today, going over what we want to get done this month and what to prioritize. We're feeling optimistic about our progress! Our big talk right now is how we want the dialogue and choices to be displayed.

Koth did some animation work before heading on holiday and managed to get a lot of the next lewd scene done! The main loops of the animations are complete, but we now need to add the animations that play between them so they transition naturally rather than with a boring fade.

Kokman finished drawing the last lewd scene for v0.15! It looks very hot, and honestly, I think the scenes are improving now that we have multiple artists on board giving notes. It's great to see the team come together and collaborate naturally. The two remaining parts are the backgrounds, but since we haven't designed that area yet, we're leaving them as is. He has already started working on the Special Moments, now that the important stuff is done. ;)

Pamika finished drawing the main menu, and it looks utterly incredible. We're planning for this to be our last main menu art change, but this one will be added to over time as the game progresses. We added a few more things to her UI Art bar, which is what part of the meeting was about. Next, she will design the settings menu where you can adjust the volume and other settings.

And that's that! Yeah, not a big report since we all took a much needed rest, or at least, time away. With renewed focus and energy, we march into January and aim to make significant headway on the game!

In the coming weeks, I will be doing some character reveals and casting announcements! I've held back on the new stuff long enough, so I figure it's time to show off some of the new characters and VAs coming to Hazelnut Latte!
