Hot Drinks Tin
In the heart of winter, this cute little tin sits on the shelf waiting for someone to open its lid and peek inside. A delightful array of hot chocolate flavours await!
This was such a fun project and made me feel cosy with each flavour! I've always been inspired by the "Squirrel Hot Chocolate" which I think came as a deco object with Outdoor Retreat. It was soon time to give that tin some functionality!
💕Thank you to my wonderful patrons for your incredibly inventive suggestions. I have tried to include as many as I could, I hope you like them. 💕
Important: *Make sure you have a coffee machine on the property, as the hot drinks will be made using that.
How to use:
Download the two files, and unzip the "Hot Chocolate Recipes_All" file, choosing the recipes you want!
In game: This object is purchasable from Build/Buy mode under the "Small Appliances" section.
Place the tin somewhere in your Sims' house (Live Drag available!).
Click on the tin and a menu will pop up saying "Make Hot Chocolate".
Select a flavour and happy sipping!
Skill Levels & Ingredients:
These hot chocolates have ingredients and will require different skill levels* to make.
*If you are only seeing a few flavours, it may be that your Sim's Cooking skill is not high enough!
Current Recipes:
Some of the recipes give custom buffs :)
- Classic Hot Chocolate
- Lactose-Free Hot Chocolate
- Peppermint Hot Chocolate
- Rainbow Hot Chocolate
- S'more Hot Chocolate
- Cinnamon Hot Chocolate
- Orange Hot Chocolate (includes optional ingredient... coming soon!)
- Coconut Hot Chocolate
- Hazelnut Pretzel Hot Chocolate
- Gingerbread Hot Chocolate
- Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate
- Triple Hot Chocolate
- Chilli Hot Chocolate (optional: uses my custom Chilli Harvestable -> 🌶️ <-)
- White Hot Chocolate
- Black Forest Hot Chocolate
- Red Velvet Hot Chocolate
Recipes contained separately in a .zip file, so you can choose the ones you want. I will be adding new flavours at time goes on. :)
I have called the a Hot Drinks Tin as I may expand into different types of drinks... who knows.

Hi! I had to redownload but the hot chocolate recipes are no longer a zip file and it doesnt work fro some reason anymore, could you please fix this? Love your content! <3
Hi Sofia! Thank you for this. I have changed it to a zip file. Is it working for you now? Remember to open the zip file and just put the recipes you'd like into your mods folder.
hey, this isnt working in my game anymore, when i click on it there is no in game action that follows
Hi Tiana, when I downloaded the all recipes file came as a package file not a zip folder. I don't know what I did wrong...
Oops I missed your message Irene, so sorry about that. The recipes were previously together in a package file, but now it is a .zip file in case you'd like to choose the ones you want :)

Love your work! Sorry, I have a question: does the Hot Chocolate All contain the new Red Velvet, so I don't have to download the individual recipe?
I missed your message! So sorry! No the Red Velvet is on it's own post :)
grabbing this now! SO EXCITED!! your cookbook is the only food mods that I use!! perfection
Thank you! Made my day 🤗☺️
hi hi! i have the tin + all of the recipes correctly downloaded, but the tin is not showing up in build mode. i can search for it, and it takes me to kitchen appliances, but the item doesn't show up. do you need a specific pack for it to work?
Hello! Sorry I missed your message completely! No there shouldn’t be any specific packs needed - have you tried searching for the name “hot drinks tin” in build mode?
I have both files but the game doesn't show them. for example I downloaded the chocolate box but it is not in the game. the modifications are activated.
Okay, a few things! Have you unzipped the package file of recipes? Does your Sim have a high enough skill level? And what are you seeing when you try and click on the box, does the menu show up but it’s blank?
Its doesnt read the file. Sorry im french so i dont know how to explain myself in a better way
I have a coffee machine but i dont have the recipes. I downloaded but it isnt a file with all recipes it was only a mod.
Sorry but i dont have the fold. Its doesnt work with me. I have only the package files hot drink tin and all recipes hot chocolate.
Hi there! Sorry I didn’t quite understand, do you have the hot drink tin and recipes downloaded? What isn’t working for you? (Also make sure you have a coffee machine on the property) 😊
this is so cute!! and thanks for the bulk download, makes things much easier to keep up with. love your work!
happy new year! :)
