Okay, counter uses the opponents strength against them. When Jimmy swinged full power Miyata didn't just hit him which would deal damage but stepped in and punched with all his power through his head basically, like Mike Tyson punches :D . I'm not sure if this is a legit punch Irl though. Also, Jimmy is shown fighting again in the manga. There was something wrong with him though mentally anyway he is not a very important character. The show is about to pick up, lots of peak episodes to come!

Me sipping soda at 4am 😂 Concerning the « jolt », this punch is much powerful because Miyata put all his weight on his front foot, so it’s a double edge sword . His dad was trying to use it but failed and broke his jaw, which put an end to his career. In the previous episode Miyata was training this counter, that’s why thé timing for his counter felt off during the sparring.
