Yeah sklpping openings specifically for this show is a mistake but i know that as you read it you already red like 10 comments about it haha. Im so glad you are enjoying this show, imo it has one of the best slice of life in all of anime, its great because every character has a personality and isnt empty shell, world feels vast and its being slowly explained to us. I just love it. And you are exactly right, we are seeing a journey of an extremely flawed person, given second chance and we are starting from a scratch, i have to also add that this show doesnt rush anything and i also love it just as much as your reaction to it <3 keep the grind and i will be there!

First time watcher here. This episode was more wholesome than I thought. I honestly don’t see anything to complain about with this episode. Rudeus and Sylphy do seem to have a wholesome little relationship right now too. The only thing I can think of that would make this seem very weird and controversial is if he starts hooking up and doing stuff with her when he’s way older and she’s a kid. That’s like the only possible future red flags I’m seeing here.

Don't skip any intros ever they are just world building and scene setting with the music behind it and each one is unique. Also occasionally important to the story.

This isn't that far from Slice-of-life, but still you're wrong. That's just a slow-burn anime, it takes its time to build the characters, the world etc.

Oh.. I wasn't even thinking about the intro. You do not skip the intros though, they do a fun little intro to each episode using the intro. So no spoilers at all. Really wish most other shows would do it just like Mushoku.

There are not any spoilers in the beginning part where the op started playing for season 1, the episode is continuing playing with the opening song as background music so it is safe to watch with no spoilers. Also I think it is pretty cool way of having the op song playing while also adding more content. The same was done for the first part of season 3

Just a heads up guys that mushoku tensei openings dont need to be skipped as they show case the world and some cool sceneries that i you guys will love!!!

You don’t have to skip the openings, they correspond to the episode and actually play frames of what the characters are doing. Openings are safe!

Very often moshoko tensei will incorporate their intro or outro as a part of the episode they do have intros and outros occasionally where it is its own dedicated screen that's the same each time but be sure to keep an eye out to see if it's the same or different because I'm pretty sure these ones are a part of the show and that's why it seems like maybe something was missed are a part of the show and that's why it seems like maybe something was missed or skipped but it's more of a montage of how they got there and pretty less storytelling

For future reference do not skip the intro songs, for season 1 specifically they don’t have any visuals and actually have events taking place in the story and show off the world and characters so you would actively miss stuff they are trying to show you, only in season 2 is where the intros have spoilers, and in season 3 they returned back to this season 1 style because it was loved so much.

You can watch the openings, they aren't like other shows. They just roll credits while showing new content for the current episode.
