I'd like to throw something out there re: Luffy powering up and power scales! It's mentioned earlier on (I think Rayleigh says is before Luffy leaves to Sabaody post-timeskip) that Haki is strengthened through battle. The harder Luffy fights with Haki, the stronger his Haki/power becomes. So a fight that one arc ago might've had him on the ropes would be much "easier" for him this time around. When reading one piece straight through, I would forget those little details, but rewatching it with y'all I definitely latched onto it and it makes Luffy's power-ups so much more interesting

you can call literally any of luffys wins plot armor. It all makes sense in this arc and its not like some random came and helped that wasnt a part of the arc in the first place

Technically I think everyone has an accent. I hear the Cali accent with Ron and Michelle has an accent too. I wasn’t born in TX but grew up in TX but whenever I go to Arkansas where I was born or anywhere else people say I sound like I’m from Texas lol

zoro wouldn’t have did anything. zoro didn’t do anything during the luffy vs usopp fight, and he wouldn’t have done anything during this fight as well. Zoro respects luffy enough that if luffy told him not to join in the fight, he wouldn’t. y’all make it seem like he’s some emotionless killer or something

Cracker was one of THREE sweet generals. They are essentially the strongest of Big Mom's children. So it's actually highly unlikely that anyone in the mob that fought Luffy is as strong or stronger than Cracker. Basically Luffy started by fighting one of the Final Bosses first.
