The scene in hell where Michelle mentions the trees look like bodies is a reference to the Wood of Suicides from Dante's Inferno. A lot of the visuals for Hell come from the Inferno, including why Dracula is below an icy part of hell - the lowest level of hell in that book is a realm where great betrayers of humanity are frozen, except for Lucifer, who betrayed God and lives even below that. It looks like the show is saying Dracula is condemned to literally the lowest level of Hell for what he's done.

This episode had some crazy contrasts: -Isaac trying to get revenge for Dracula/turning people that were being used by a monster of a man into night creatures from souls from hell. -Trevor and Sypha fighting people/night creatures while souls are being sent to a hellish night creature that used people to open a portal that leads to Dracula. -Hector, a human, being betrayed (somewhat, even if she needed consent, he was tricked and manipulated) while having sex with a vampire/bound to a contract by someone he grew to trust. -Alucard, a half-vampire, being betrayed while having sex with these humans he came to trust, being bound by something I’m sure he taught them/entrusted them with. This was a brilliant episode in my opinion. All moments that barely left room for words, only actions and cinema 🤌🏽
