since your watching in english all you have to know is that some of them are androids and some of them are cyborgs but the english version of dragonball just uses "android" theres never going to be a point in this series your watching that anyone is called a cyborg you can ignore the people having fits over Android vs Cyborg because its completely inconsequential

fun fact: toriyama says in a 2014 Q&A that he is entirely artificial and since he is 8 all the others were artificial too (1-7). and like one comment said, in japanese they called him "jinzōningen", which means artificial human. but everyone just calls him android 8 mostly
