Ron is 100% right in his thought process. At the end of the day she is an emperor. Where are you going to go? She rules several islands and they have trackers in the sea that watches movements of ships. Also I hope you guys realize her crew members are her kids. So they're not going to just abandon their mother. Very similar to Ron's story. You're scared of your mom but she has nice moments.

i like that Ron's reasoning for people not leaving. it makes a lot sense, you cant easily move island to island. I presume its very expensive even tho Oda himself has not said it. You cant really take a small boat and leave, the monster we saw Luffy fight would kill any civilians or even above average human. That big centpiede scene lowkey had no reason to exist besides maybe say why people can't just up and leave.

Ron is right the people living on Big Mom's islands are mostly normal civilians. They can't fight an Emperor, and the New World seas are full of sea monsters and bizarre weather, so they have no way to escape. They literally just have to deal with her rampages like an unavoidable natural disaster

Don't overthink her illness guys, they explain it in the ep and say she will rampage until she gets what she wants. It's not something to be cured and her power is separate from that.

yea you guys are looking into the whole “illness” alil too much.. its just her and her hunger pangs and she’s just going on a tantrum until she gets what she wants..her power tho is something totally different and is not tied to her hunger pangs or as you may call it her “illness”, thats just who she is as a character
