Hello Darkness My Old Friend!

11:11 To answer your question, its been a 7 year time gap between the release of the original anime and 0's anime. Steins Gate and Steins Gate 0 are based off visual novels. The Steins Gate vn came out in 2009, with the anime coming out in 2011. Steins Gate 0's visual novel didn't come out until 2015, with the anime coming out 2018. The idea of Kurisu having this research project of using human memories to create a perfect AI.. just feels true to Kurisu's character and skills. We learnt back in the original series that she majors in neuroscience and brain science. Her knowledge of the brain and how memories worked became the foundation for how she created the Time Leap Machine.

Thank you guys for watching this series 🥹🙏

Thanks

Okarin had to live his whole life with Kurisu being dead in order for him to come up with the plan operation skuld to reach steins;gate. So that must mean there's an Okabe that never gets a call and plan (which eventually becomes the Okabe that *does* make the phone call) Hope that clears it up!

Too-too-roo! I'm so glad you're watching this awesome anime, not many people watch it for some reason. It's a great experience, although imho the best experience is playing theeir visual novel games.

this is gonna be so good. especially how it ties in with the first season. It's all connected!

You’re going to have patience with the first part of this season, and then you’ll get to see some of the most matured and deep emotional writing in anime which is why some people say this is better than the original Steins;Gate.

This season is for sure harsher, the characters will suffer a lot, but that's what makes it great, a slightly different approach vs the og sg but an awesome piece of media. Be wary that since this is based on a visual novel game, the alternate paths are not always explored, and there will be some very minor details that will not be explained thoroughly in the series. That aside, my suggestion is that you get familiar with the Tanabata festival and its lore, it's related to that line Mayushii said at the beginning. I believe it will make the journey much more enjoyable, specially towards the end . PS: About Okabe seiyuu... he is voiced by the great Mamoru Miyano, who also voiced Light in Death Note, it's not a surprise he is that awesome

Damn this shows good, I need to start it

I’m loving the time skip. Mayuri and everyone else grew up 🤩 yes the dub is great it’d be nice if y’all react to an episode/scene in dub. The ending scene watching this in dub is crazy because the girl is interpreting in Japanese and there were no subtitles I was so confused 😂

I vaguely remember steins gate 0. It came out during a time of my life that I was busy a lot and missed a lot of anime or wasnt giving as much attention while watching. Excited to rewatch

how one slap (or not to) can change everything 😭
