Viz Media and Remove Your Media are under non-public proprietary vendor contracts, serving as an authorized third-party anti-piracy and digital enforcement agency. If you look up the Google transparency reports for copyright claims, you’ll see that the reporting organization for Viz Media is Remove Your Media, with hundreds of thousands of copyright claims. The company operates with a very small team of around 10 people, with the primary culprit being an automated AI DMCA model that falsely flags content creators using broad system key terms, video, and audio hashes against their copyright database. This small corporate entity is likely why their enforcement letters appear so unprofessional. What a terrible system and company

So basically the firm " Remove your Media " is again using its bots to flag everything and anything and claim the revenue from creators. When you look into it they just want to cash out on the Bleach record breaking episode. That was the main trigger. We should mass report these rat corporations because they threaten using Ai with a "Fire first ask question later". They know most smaller creators won't go to court so that's essentially a mob scheme in a way, they don't even do due diligence because they know people can't attack them back wich is illegal to an extent. You guy's should start a collective act, all content creators involved and ask for donations. The EFF and NMR could potentially help and create a coalition collective and help you fund legal fees trought a Pro bono or mix with donation funding ? Just a taught maybe that's allready in the works.

I think I'm starting to get a clear picture. Japan recently amended their anti-piracy law this year. So, this could be why RemoveYourMedia is going so hard. Apparently, they are employed by VIZ, Crunchyroll, Aniplex, and probably more. Japan itself is trying to "stop piracy" but this is madness.

I would like to know, is it RemoveYourMedia? Because I was doing my research and they seem to be employed by the JCCA or the Japan Creative Contents Alliance and they could be employed by VIZ as well. I think the more effective method for all reactors would be to push VIZ, JCCA or anyone else that employs RemoveYourMedia because they do it with extreme prejudice and no real evidence of anything.

I mean can you blame them tho? Look at this from their perspective, they put all that effort and money into making the anime episodes. And all the reactors just take their episodes and show them to people on patreon and make money off it. Everyone is pissed about it but not looking at it from viz's perspective. If the owner of something does not want us to use their thing, and we are still doing it for our benefit, we are in the wrong not them.
