ngl i think 2 eps a week would be awesome but i understand you guys have a lot of other shows to react to
We need double drops at least!
There鈥檚 like a decade between the last episode of the Dragon Ball anime and the first episode of Dragon Tales. The English funimation dub did overlap with DT Tho.
This episode was so good lol. Giren is hilarious and doesn鈥檛 seem that bad of a guy 馃槀 dude hit Goku with that gum gum fruit 馃拃 馃ぃ
Time is a social construct sir
"Yeah I get to fight him!" Goku-the first Kenpachi Giran calling Yamcha a fraud is so good
You have a long road ahead!
Giran randomly manifesting a little white flag so he can give up is hilarious
I feel like 1 episode is not enough knowing they still have to go through Z, GT(if they are watching it), and super. Plus some movies
100%. If they don't watch GT, it will take them 3 years and 7 months! If you add in GT that's 4 years! That's not counting movies, specials, Daima, or breaks they take. Which would make it probably 5-6 years. That is insane. 2 years is a lot more reasonable imo. I hope they do watch GT though because I couldn't even make it through the first major villain so it would be more interesting to watch along with them. I also hope they watch DBZ Abridged!
fun fact: goku never says he feels stronger in the manga and sub. he just says he feels a lot better. its like a 5th limb for him so just feels natural. him growing back his tail gave him a chance to break free
That's a sad state of why the dub is a steamy pile a donkey shit, and why people shouldn't watch as a lore reason these days. If they want to watch it for serious reasons anyways, it should always be (SUB/JP). Even then you have to find the correct translation, and there are better ones online otherwise you just get "dubtitles".
DBZ was my very first exposure to anime and I fell in love with it as a kid, I still until recently have not seen Dragonball and I have loved watching that with you all lately. This has been very enjoyable to feel this nostalgia again. I can鈥檛 wait for Z and Super.
Also Goku is one of the best shit talkers in Dragonball I have noticed lol
